The Realm of Light
The current head guardian of the Realm of Light is Sativa, a powerful fire elemental. Though finding Duvessa and killing her before she reunintes with Darcy is a priority, Sativa is also charged with keeping the peace and protection of the city, with the aid of the other members of the Guardians' Guild. As if that was not enough of a tiresome duty, she has her small daughter Kelly to watch over and raise. Other members of the Guardians' Guild are Leosolette, a fairy with air elemental powers, Lydia, an elf with earth oriented abilities, Maris, a water witch, Rierd, a lightning elemental, and an ice elemental. The Guild has several friends to help them in their struggle. Amongst them are an intelligent ogre named Tegan, who at 8 feet tall was the "runt" of his litter, and Quinn, a powerful psychic who occasionally has revelations of the future. Together, they struggle to maintain the freedom that Arcaneans have enjoyed for thousands of years.
