Blitzkrieg: Past and Present
After Serge, Inc.'s betrayal of the populace of Betatropolis was uncovered, the children of Migeul and Sheri Alder, Jacen and Tia, were left orphaned, amongst many others. Jacen, who dubbed himself Eclipse because of his shadowy powers, raised his sister who was six years his junior. He had always fondly called her Spark as a petname, and after their parents' disappearance, he wouldn't call her anything but Spark. After two years in Mephist orphanage, with many other mutant children, now called "Sergies" because of the corporation that had created them, he led the rebellion out of the orphanage, at 12 years of age.
He was fortunate enough to run across Forbes Minay, a smuggler/drug dealer who was looking to further his enterprises, and was in search of protection. He recognized the abilities of all the recently escaped orphan children, and took them all in, so long as they were willing to aid him with things such as theft, or protecting him from danger. Soon, "Uncle Forbie" became well known for his "Sergies" and eventually became the forefather of Blitzkrieg, an anti-corporate gang led by Eclipse and Spark. Eclipse basically took over his empire, and changed it. His personal goal was to prevent any corporations from ever taking control of Betatropolis again, because of what had happened to himself and Spark, and because of the loss of their parents.
Currently, Blitzkrieg is a highly successful, politically based gang, with an enourmous membership. They help to support the poor that lack jobs within SiCorp, and help keep free enterprise within Betatropolis.
