The Girl, Story from Holland

I'm gonna tell you a story about a Dutch ghost named 'De Heks van Hilvarenbeek' (The witch of Hilvarenbeek). She lived in the 1930-ies in the dark woods of a lttle Dutch village. The people were afraid of the old lady. Little children may not come in the neighborhood of the woman. In 1941 a little girl called 'Annie' dissapeared in the woods, and the people blamed the old lady. The angry people of Hilvarenbeek killed the old woman with throwing stones. The woman kept calling that she did not know where the girl was, till she died.... Since that dark fallafternoon in '41 people hear strange sounds in the woods. They hear voices of a little girl and the scream of an old woman. Nowadays people say that these are the ghosts of Annie and the witch. My mother says that she saw the little girl once looking for her parents in the eveningfog one evening last summer. More people say this is true........ Are these the hopeless cries of a lost girl in the woods and her scary old killer?????? Greetings, Bart Remmers, Holland.
