Game Overview=Good game in which the Warriors pulled away late. The SabreCats continued to dominate on the boards with their size, but were once again out-finessed by the younger, quicker Warriors. Joker's 42 points and 33 boards weren't quite enough as the SabreCats' defense was ripped up by the Warriors' balanced team scoring. Joker did set the single game scoring record, which stood until the 1999 season. This was a must-win game for the Warriors and they responded, taking a 17-3 lead to open the game. The SabreCats did come back and make it a game, but never lead as the Warriors cruised to victory and tied up the series at 1-1, setting up a decisive Game Three for the first-ever HBL Championship.
