soaking the ground
heavy slippery intestines
held in slickened tight cupped hands
clutching in the pain
desparately clasping my elbow
to bring my eyes close to his
to sooth my pain...
...in hidden terror of loss of Being
...who was it who killed
our children
our beautiful children
our future
our immortality
my Friend...
with hate
and deception
greed and fear
bigotry and racism
and ideals sold cheaply
as our children's
lives were sold...?

Who shunned
forgot
blamed
despised
hated our children?

...so that they despised
blamed
and turned away from themselves

dying alone...?

...who is it

who murders

and betrays

our beautiful

sacred

trusting children...

saying it is for

"Freedom," "Equality,"

and the "PURSUIT Of Happiness,"

not just for US Americans,

but for ALL HUMANKIND?

when in your terror of impotency you slaughter,

rape, and rob each other of life and dignity,

decieving yourselves it is "Noble" for your own miserable, pathetic sakes...saying,

But, I Did Not Pierce His Side To Deliver The Killing Stroke!

But, I Did Not Accuse Him; Judge Him; Send Him To His Death For Foolishness!

But, I Don't Know Him...He Is Not My Brother...My Hands Are Clean!

But, I Am A Hero!

But, I Follow The Orders Of My Government, The People...

Who Elect Our Leaders, Who Legislate And Sign Our Laws,

Who Approve Our Justices;

But, I Am A Voter;

But, I Am A Consumer;

But, I Am A Taxpayer,

I'm An AMERICAN

...obeying the mandates of my social roles and inborn appitites
and exercising my Rights as a Citizen under the Law
which is really all the moral guide I need! RIGHT?
What Else Should I Be Or Do?'"
