[Honestly...not everyone is glad no one was there first
to be killed before we could plant our flag on it,
because some feel acquisition without conquest is
boring and qualitatively less satisfying...gosh!]

What Goes Around, Comes Around:
Continuous...Unbroken...Oneness...
The Profane With The Divine,
With The Profane,
With The...!

"When NASA was preparing for the Apollo Project, it took the astronauts to a Navajo reservation in Arizona for training. One day, a Navajo elder and his son came across the space crew walking among the rocks. The elder, who spoke only Navajo, asked a question. His son translated for the NASA people: 'What are these guys in the big suits doing?' One of the astronauts said that they were practicing for a trip to the moon. When his son relayed this comment the Navajo elder got all excited and asked if it would be possible to give to the astronauts a message to deliver to the moon. Recognizing a promotional opportunity when he saw one, a NASA official accompanying the astronauts said, 'Why certainly!' and told an underling to get a tape recorder. The Navajo elder's comments into the microphone were brief. The NASA official asked the son if he would translate what his father had said. The son listened to the recording and laughed uproariously. But he refused to translate. So the NASA people took the tape to a nearby Navajo village and played it for other members of the tribe. They too laughed long and loudly but also refused to translate the elder's message to the moon. Finally, an official government translator was summoned. After he finally stopped laughing the translator relayed the message: 'Watch out for these assholes. They have come to steal your land.'"

WELCOME
T0 HOTEL BRAVO RINGS II!
(Maybe someday we'll get around to joining a mess of RINGS
to justify calling this page "RINGS II"...)

"Pay Attention: This MAY BE YOUR LAST CHANCE to go to the Parking Lot for a while, from which you can get to the 1999 Reunion, to the (Unofficial) Bravo Company Area, to the 2/47th Mechanized Infantry Battalion Area and back to the HOTEL BRAVO RINGS! If you don't want to just wander the Halls and Steam Tunnels, follow the Running Man! (We know. Seems like a paradox to follow a running man in a box to avoid becoming entangled in a maze, but that is The Nam. If you were there, you already know. If you weren't, explaining won't help! If you were there and you still don't get it, don't worry about it. We didn't all run our hand up the same leg of the elephant!) If you go to the Bravo Company Area, you will find the way to the Map Room, where you can tour some of Bravo Company's AOs around My Tho, Tan An, Ben Luc, Binh Phuoc, Rach Kien, and neighboring Can Giuoc! If you are just going back outside to take a leak, we have modern Latrines off the Lobby and wish you would use them! This isn't really Viet-Nam (or Johnson's Rose Garden) 1968, but we get a certain percentage of guests at Hotel Bravo who are not house broken. We are considering raising Room Rates to cover the extra cleaning expense! The alley between the Hotel and the Parking Ramp, below the HOTEL BRAVO Rainbow Roof Garden (Smokers) Outdoor Bar is NOT a toilet! Knock it off! The eight year old son of one of the staff thinks it's funny. We don't! Grow up! Urinating off a seven story building to SEE rainbows is not as amusing to some as it seems to be to others!" --The H.B. Management

And the steps youre takin
Leave you three, four steps behind
But the road youre walking
Might be long sometimes
You just keep on steppin
And youll be just fine, yeah

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Dont you carry nothing that might be a load
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the

When you wish you wasnt born
And you wake one morning
Just to find that your courages gone
But just know that feeling
Only last a little while
You just stick with us
And well show you how to smile, yeah

Get em up, goin down, ease on down
