Personality: Aylynn Hansen, is friendly outgoing, and an excelent officer. Though she does get obsessed about problems with 'her' engines
when she can't solve them. Dispite her considerable knolledge of Engineering she doesn't speak above or down to non-Engineers when discussing Engineering, but istead puts them in clear methaphoric terms making her a favorite with most CO's
Background: Aylynn was born Aylynn Boral, her mother died in labour dispite the best Federation medicine could do. Aylynn's father was left to raise her and her older brother, Jeren. When Jeren much to his father's displesure didn't enter the Symbiosis commission, Aylynn became the focus of his attention.
With that pressure on her she lived a sheltered life but one of great acomplishment. She entered the Symbiosis comission from her secondary school and worked hard to overcome the obsticles intentionaly placed in the way of intiates. Durring this time, Aylynn was sent to be mentored by Joven Komal, a Starfleet Engineer.
He taught Aylynn about the joys of Starfleet, a lesson that stuck. Aylynn joined Starfleet's Theoretical Engineering Program after being joined with the Vanx symbiot.
Dispite the fact that she was free of her father's presure now that she was joined. Aylynn still worked hard in the academy completing her comprehensive program in two years, through the Academies fast track program. And was assigned imediately to the Habeshian shipyard under her old Mentor Joven. There she served with distiction until the USS Galileo refit came under her command.
Durring that mission she fell in love with the ship's young first officer, James Hansen and she transfered to the ship on a temporary basis. Currently she is serving on the USS Backlash a ship Captained by her now fiancee James Hansen, and seems as though she is staying dispite the fact that her mentor is dying and wants her to take his place at the Habeshian yards.
