Born in Des Moins, Iowa on August 30, 1928, Bill Daily's first big acting career came with I Dream
of Jeannie in 1965. Before Jeannie, he made a few guest starring appearences, including "A Vision of Sugar Plums",
the first Bewitched Christmas episode (Episode 15), in late 1964. In 1965, Bill Daily, of course, landed the role of
Major Roger Healey, bumbeling pal of Major Nelson's who somethimes wrecks it for Tony without even trying! Bill
Daily appeared in most 139 episode of Jeannie, and stayed with the cast until the show ended in 1970. In 1972, Bill
Daily went on to play Howard Borden in "The Bob Newhart Show" and continued that role for 6 seasons until 1978.
Directly after Jeannie, had a few guest starring roles in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Love American Style.
After The Bob Newhart Show, Bill Daily took on some guest starring roles and was a regular in two, short-lived
comedies of the early eighties. He appeared on ALF in the late eighties. In 1985, with Barabra Eden and Hayden
Rorke, Bill Daily came to I Dream of Jeannie: 15 Years later. He also appeared in the 1991 film, "I Still Dream of
