Will I Find My Valentine?

I sit and watch another Valentine go by,

Another year - and still nothing yet,

The only thing I ask is why,

Why am I the only one left standing,

All by myself and forever alone?

I look at one and think of another,

Trying to see who would fit,

Who would stand - who would sit,

Who would laugh - who would cry,

Who would be with me,

And who would stand by my side.

Who would always be there,

And live and laugh and cry and share,

Who could love me as I am,

A foolish boy, a helpless man?

I am not done - though I’ve giv’n my all,

And with your strength I shall not fall,

Will you be the one to brighten my day,

To keep me in line and show me the way,

Will you be the one to say "I love you",

Or is this just another midnight adieu?

I hope someday I find you,

And you make my life worthwhile,

But until then I’ll keep looking for you,

And I’ll never falter in my smile.
