Philosophy Statement
* I believe humans are intrinsically motivated to learn, to create, and invent. Personal responsibility and personal choice are essential to instill pride, creativity, and independence in one's work.
* I believe everyone can be successful when given the tools and time to achieve their goals. Experience is the most effective teacher, although experience can happen literally or in a world of immagination.
* I believe in making connections between disciplines and subject areas. In isolation no single view or experience will allow us to understand the world.
