Ms. Childs,
I enjoyed meeting you at Gertrude Smith's reception last Saturday. Our conversation regarding your graduate program in arts administration intrigued me. I would like to meet with you again to further discuss your program. I'm also interested in discussing Saint Mary's University, as well as admissions procedures and financial aid. Finally, I am curious to know what career opportunities exist for graduates of the St. Mary's program.
In 1998, I graduated from Central College with a degree in Music Education. Since then, I have been employed as an elementary school orchestra director. I believe education to be key in maintaining strong audiences for the arts. Eventually, I want to combine management skills with my background in education. I want to work in strengthening outreach and education programs for the arts community.
Once again, I enjoyed talking with you last Saturday. I am looking forward to speaking with you again. I am available to meet with you at your convenience.
