Management Assessment Plan Statement # 3

SLO # 3. Students taking freshman coursework in management will demonstrate competency in written communication skills.

Primary Focus: Communication of Results / Target Course: MGT 150 / Related Course Objective: 3

Assessment Measures and Techniques. Management students will complete a case project, in which they must solve at least one complex problem. Each student will write a detailed report upon completion of the project. Faculty will evaluate reports using an assessment rubric developed by the program assessment committee.

Assessment Criteria/Expected Results. The average rating of student achievement in each performance category will be 3 or higher on a scale of 1-4.
