400 hundred horses, Isky 3/4 cam, Jahn's 13:1 pistons, ported chambers breathe'in thru 3" pipes, only slightly muted with "Cherry Bomb" glasspacks... And she's music to the ears when she's breathe'in (unless you're the local fuzz...heh...)
She hooks up with a Borg & Beck 1300lb. pressure plate, Muncie "Rock Crusher" 4 speed, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, and tied to a 4:11 Posi diff... real whiplash action for GearBangers....haaaaaa...
Imagine this.... A warm summer's day, sitt'in at a red light on Chicago's south 79th. street... up along side of you pulls a 440 Dodge...pipes are rumb'lin...ground is shak'in...you both look at each other and grin...heh...each of ya wonder'in just who's the fastest...
You both stab the throttle a few times, just to clear out the pipes, (and maybe, just to intimidate...)
You got one hand on your shifter, and the other on the wheel, and they're both start'in to sweat...your left foot's slowly roll'in off the edge of the clutch pedal, as you're watch'in the tach pick'in up the R's...
The light turns to green!!!..... heh... you do the math from here....
Ahhhh...those were the Days...when ,if ya did'nt have at least 400 horse under your hood, you just did'nt bother gett'in out of bed in the morn'in....
