Iowa City Assembly # 27

The International Order of Rainbow for Girls is a Masonic youth organization for girls ages 11-21. Any girl with a belief in the Supreme Being, a love for her country, and a desire to serve others, may join. You must also enjoy having fun. The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is sponsored by Masonic Lodges, Order of the Eastern Star Chapters, and Order of the Amaranth Courts

Welcome to the unofficial web page of Iowa City's Rainbow Assembly. I will have various information about events and other happenings in our assembly on here regularly. I'm hoping to make this a very informative page and have all kinds of fun stuff to do on here. If you have any suggestions, please email me at iorg@avalon.net or the one below.

We are a brand new assembly, we are coming up on the closing of our first year. It has been a slow but productive year. We opened in October of 1997, with 14 girls. In May of 1998, we initiated 7 Iowa City girls and also 2 girls for the Clinton, Iowa charter.

Our girls attended many events this year including: Iowa DeMolay's All Star, Rainbow Spring Leadership, Iowa Rainbow's Mini-Grand, Iowa DeMolay's Masonic Youth Day, Iowa Rainbow's Grand, and Iowa DeMolay's Summerfest (to those who arent in Iowa Masonic organizations, Summerfest is Iowa's version of the typical DeMolay Conclave).
