About Kotetsu

Well, I'm terribly flattered that you want to read about the creator of this website - me, Kotetsu! Well, that's just my screen name, but it works. I'm a die-hard fan of shoujo anime, most specifically Utena and Sailormoon. Other anime that I like includes Tenchi Muyo, Evangelion, and lain. I also like the manga series Inu-Yasha and Rayearth (I don't really care for the Rayearth anime, though . . .)

My first ever experience with anime was a serendipitous rental one Friday evening of "My Neighbor Totoro," and I was hooked. From there I began watching Sailormoon on the Cartoon Network. Then I realized that the dub stank and I started collecting fansubs. Then I started checking out anime beyond Sailormoon. Finally, on a whim, I picked up a copy of "Revolutionary Girl Utena" and I was hooked.

I am solely responsible for inflicting the otaku lifestyle on a least three of my close friends and my younger sister. I work part-time just so I can have money to buy more anime. I also suffered the humiliation of having my younger sister teach me HTML just so I could create this shrine to perhaps the most under-rated character in Utena, Kyouichi Saionji!
