Books I recommend

To all of you that are sitting there wanting to read something, not knowing what to pick. Or, to you that just want an advise of what to get next.
Here is my advise on what to pick.

The Barrytown Triology

by Roddy Doyle
A triology containing the novels The Commitments, The Snapper and The Van. All very entertaining and well told stories about a family in a working-class area in Dublin.

The Mummy

by Anne Rice
This book is a bit different from those that made the autors name. I am reffering to the Vampire books about Lestat and Louis. The mummy of Ramses the great is being taken to London and is there awakened by the sun. Very good reading. More of a "chick-book" though.

Lulu

by Almudena Grandes.
A Spanish woman telling her love-story. Very vivid language, however maybe not to recommend to those with sensitive minds.

Schindlers list

by Thomas Keneally
The book behind the film. Those of you that liked the film, you will like the book even more. Those of you that didn't, try the book. It's better.

Lady of Hay

by Barbara Erskine
Historical novel about a female journalist that decides to research hypnosis used as a way to explore earlier life. She is very doubtfull at first but then she find out that she has once been lady Mathilda of Hay and relive her life. Thrilling story indeed.

That is all for the moment. This is not due to lack of inspiration, but to ache in fingers from typing. I will soon follow up this list with more tip's so make sure you check it out on a regular basis.
