What I say

By keeping love active in my vocabulary, I receive a focused awareness of its presence. Sharing daily marvels, expressing needs and desires and talking about new awarenesses bring a myriad of blessings.

I receive loving, warm communication with others, bright, refreshing communion with the unlimited, universal and harmonizing power and a sensation of joy bubbles welling up within.

Affirmations help clear away the dross and break through the structure to enable me to see the foundation - love within myself and within others. When I make constructive declarations, I am accomplishing something within my mind, cleansing my outlook. I am also putting the favorable substance of energy into the ethers to allow the energy to show its power.

I am an idealist and I write to those ideals. I give no recognition to unfavorables and receive as much favorable input as possible. This practice has led to a continual desire for growth and for insight to bring continuous communion with joy. With this, I receive richer fellowship with others and discover new understanding. Melodizing a note of celebration for others is a fulfilling experience. Applying what joy gives and passing it along to others brings happiness.

As we step into another month of the new year, we continue to include a series of personal reminders and suggestions for relaxation exercises and methods for uniting in communication with others.

Discovery is everywhere.

May these personal reminders give you the joy of discovery and enlightenment.

Each Short Cut best finds its enchantment if the exercises are performed in a quiet, relaxing space.

There are no "short cuts" if the path of awareness has not already been traveled. Each person's path is unique.

Listen to your feelings. What part rebels? What did you do to get beyond the rebellion? How did you feel after attainment?

PURPOSE: To experience courage.

HINT: Begin with a small project. Graduate to more valiant endeavors.

Facets of Light - Comes the Dawn

Streaming facets of color,
brighter than a rainbow
stream through my window,
telling me I have the privilege
to enjoy another day.

Comes the Noon Day

Streaming facets of brightness
Glowing with the noonday sun
Shine through my window
As I have the privilege

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for your tears, and a light to shine your way.

Disappointments are like road humps, they slow you down a bit but you enjoy the smooth road afterwards. Don't stay on the humps too long. Move on!

When you feel down because you didn't get what you want, just sit tight and be happy, because God has something better to give you.

When something happens to you, good or bad consider what it means. There's a purpose to life's events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry too hard.

You can't make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved; the rest is up to the person to realize your worth.

What the heart gives away is never gone. It is kept in the hearts of others.

Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risks.

Secure a special place in your heart. A certain place only you can enter. For there will come a time when you need to find yourself and only your heart will show you the way.

The measure of love is when you love without measure.

In life there are very rare chances that you'll meet the person you love and loves you in return. So once you have it don't ever let go, the chance might never come your way again.

It's better to lose your pride to the one you love, than to lose the one you love because of pride.

We spend so much time looking for the right person to love or finding fault with those we already love, when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.

When you truly care for someone, you don't look for faults, and you overlook excuses.

Five rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

God doesn't CALL the QUALIFIED,
He QUALIFIES the CALLED.
"There's no attainment, if there is no goal."
