We're using a bit different format for the Expansion Encounters this month. All selected poems here were written by Dusty Reed.

Unbroken

The Lord creates
A support of strength.
He uses threads of love,
Intertwined,
To braid a cord
That cannot be broken.

Observation

Seeing all life
through God's love
may take practice.
God is positive
and His Spirit within
leads me into the affirmative
observance of life.

Growing

Growing in God's love
is a different world
than what surrounds me.
All of life is effortless
if I'm following His light,
Growing in His love.

From Whence Cometh

My love comes from the Lord,
from deep within.
Without it, my life would be
an empty shell.
He fills it to overflowing.
I share His love with you.
Thank you for giving me
the privilege.

Special Gift

I can love all mankind,
That is easy to do;
But it is a special gift,
Given by the Lord,
To like someone
As a special friend.

Life

Life is love
Life is joy
Life is peace
Life is awareness.
Any unfavorables
Trying to sneak in
are not a part.
Life is positive
Life is love.

Ribbons of Love

Through acceptance of Christ
I receive a free spirit.
Silver threads from friends,
Sparkling ribbons from family
Connect me with this world.
There is a flowing stream of love
From others threaded and ribboned
Through acceptance of Christ.

Light My Path

Thank You, Lord, For Your love, care and concern.
Help me express Your love
And give cares and concerns to You
So that You may light my path
To express
Through Your love.

Where Stillness Lies

A work of art described
as pleasant
Flows easily
with no disturbance.
Joy breaks through
when deeper insight
Reveals new meaning.
A deeper love
of beauty
When revelation exposes
the need for
Expansion of awareness.
If the surface demands work,
Preoccupation prevents
the experience of joy
from bubbling deep within.
But I can go
Deeper than the ripples
Where the stillness of divinity flows;
where my joy bubbles are safely
Tucked in Divine Love.

God's Love

Fellowship with God
the Creator, as my Creator
Creating my thoughts,
Creating my feelings,
Creating my understanding,
Creating my being,
Creating my surroundings
is prosperity.
God loves me.
