The Life Now philosophy has a much wider scope than my limited beliefs. I believe only as much as I am aware. Life Now includes the consciousness of everyone. This eliminates all fences or boundaries. Life Now then becomes personal to each individual to the extent we use it.

I have been working and playing with Life Now in my life for twenty years. It has encouraged me to broaden my consciousness in spiritual matters, to my family and to others.

Some of you are already aware of this but there are many new friends receiving Expansion Encounters and so I am making a new as well as a repeat invitation! I publish two snail newsletters and am looking for articles by guest authors.

These newsletters reveal some of that learning of spiritual matters as well as insights from others. We can all gain new insights through the network of sharing.

Communication takes place in many forms. One such form is through music. Dusty has written a book that follows cummunication around the world through the medium of music.

"As we step into the 20th Century, we observe a lessening of diversity with other cultures. Rapid travel allowed musicians and composers to evaluate variations and find agreements more quickly. Mass communication allowed the development of an ability for composition with a variety of tastes and skills. This ultimately brought a blending of elements.

Folk music is important to community life. It is music that usually thrives outside of elite or educational institutions. It provides creative means of exploring, expressing and communicating values with one another and with the outside world. Folk music is the music an ethnic community uses to identify itself.

Nearly all of humanity shares folk music. Folk songs are communal compositions. They are expressions of the culture that produces them. A community helps support one another by learning, growing and celebrating the beauty surrounding as well as within. Music offers inspiration.

Here is an experiment. Listen to music, pleasant to your taste, as often as possible for a month. Notice the difference in attitude toward life. If you do listen frequently, try a week without music and note the effect.

Music expresses the central social values of nearly all societies. It accompanies other activities each day. This includes the work place, home, our association with nature, and our communion with others."
