This month we are pleased to share an article by Kim. We have been emailing since I was first introduced to internet and discovered he lived on Prince Edward Island at the time. And I love the area description from all the Anne of Green Gables books!) He has and is deeply involved with metaphysics and the concept that Love Is God – and shares this: Love is not jealous or boastful Love is not arrogant or rude Love does not insist on its own way Love is not irritable or resentful Love does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things Love never ends ~ ~ ~ Can you imagine being an Eagle on the wing, soaring high above in the clouds - what it looks like and feels like? Most can imagine this. Now, can you, in addition to this imagining, further imagine an Eagle being a creature that never hungers, never thirsts, never gets tired, never has to come down to earth feeling the need to prey on other life to sustain? Can you imagine what feeling so Free would feel like? Most likely you can and if you have, then congratulations! You have taken a first and most important step in creating this much Freedom for yourself. You have imagined it in intricate details as what it looks like, what it feels like to have this much Freedom. There is a box full of tools for one to take their good dream and bring it to reality. For Imagination is the Mother of all Reality. Nothing can be created that doesn’t first need to be imagined. So, therefore, never think of your imagination as something less than real. Anything you wish to accomplish you must first imagine yourself doing and sustain it until your objective is accomplished. How long it takes depends on the difficulty of the task you have undertaken. - copyright Kim Qi
Dusty’s Sharing – After a willingness to observe both sides of the fence, I see a sameness at the core of most metaphysical and Christian beliefs, once the dogma is cleared away. I have presented the base, as close as I can state it, without using any church dogma, to metaphysicians and they accept it as stated. The frustration within me is when I mention the words, “metaphysics,” or “new age” to Christian friends and their fear says, “I don’t want to discuss anything about new age.” There is nothing “wrong” about new age. There are many avenues to investigate to broaden my awareness and experience of God’s Love. I am not given the privilege of making judgment of any kind. I may even have a fear and judge something as “wrong.” As I pray for guidance, God opens the door for research and I discover there is no harm involved, just a sweetness of His Love shining through. We may not consider death by war or terrorism as Good, but our mission is not to judge. It is to Love and see the Goodness - as we believe God desires for us to see it. What appears to be is that various beliefs are provided and people have a choice of what feels right for them. All is Good. For example, Unity, which is considered by many as metaphysical, put out an affirmation page that goes along with my favorite scripture. Do you see the sameness? Psalm 16:11: “Thou dost show me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Unity: “Illumination: The Christ Spirit within me guides me to right decisions. My way is made clear. General: The Christ Spirit within me establishes order and harmony in every situation. I go forth in confidence and peace. Healing: The Christ Spirit within me renews and revitalizes my mind, body and emotions. I am whole, well, and free. Prosperity: Through the activity of the Christ Spirit within me, I attract my highest good. I am prospered and blessed.”* *From Unity School of Christianity, Unity Village, MO, October 1988. The difference often slides in with different usage of terminology. “Praise the Lord,” “Lifting joy bubbles,” and “Gratifying God in me,” all mean the same, according to each person’s understanding. “Opening to the Light” and “Praying for Guidance” mean the same with each person’s understanding of what these include. There is a Oneness with all humanity. My desire is to seek and observe that Oneness…
