Expansion Encounters - with Dusty With the new year approaching, now is the time to begin planning our road map for 2008. Some people say they have no special desires. They don't reflect drive or ambition to achieve their potential. They are merely taking the mechanical actions required and requested by others. They don't have personal charge of their world. Others are responsible for providing their motion. They are similar to puppets or robots, waiting for someone to push their button. Purpose of life on this earth is to make accomplishments and find personal improvement. Without taking control and driving our automobile, we are heading nowhere. Who is driving our car - us, or others around us? Establishing life desires affects our personality. It allows us to gain a descriptive philosophy of life. We determine why we want these goals, how we are going to achieve them and what the desired results will be. This is giving a detailed map for pursuing our dreams. By determining and establishing incentives, we provide ourselves with jet propelled motivation toward success. Confidence and persistence provide the fuel to keep progressing. We can generate momentum and experience satisfaction in all areas of existence. Have we written a road map for our path of growth? Fortitude by Dusty Reed Determination sets boundaries, which are necessary at times. In my life, if some determinations are not made, I may detour and take an unnecessary road, which wastes my time that could better be invested in determining my purpose.
