Dark
Solace (Drow)
Ok, here's
a run down of this incarnation of Dark Solace. He's a Drow Elf, who is
a follower of Eilistraee, Llira, and Sharess . He uses two weapons, a la
Drizzt, only instead he uses katanas. His full name is Solaufein Auvryndar,
and he resides in Silverymoon. He is 5 feet tall, weighs 99 lbs, has silver
hair, and dark amber eyes. He is the 5th of 6 children.
For those
of you who do actually play AD&D, he's a dual class Ranger/Mage, levels
14/15 respectivly.
He used to have three Katanas, but one was destroyed by a nasty explosion.
. . more about that later. Both of which were speed enchanted. Very
nasty items in the hands of a grandmaster. The third is an intellegent
weapon. She goes by the name of Chalace. She acts as a sword
of disruption for extra-planar beings. Great thing to have when faced
with a hoard of honked off Bataazue (sp?), that and
a Harper pin.

Other items that he has on his person are a bag of holding (1 ton or 2000
lbs.), a ring of ram, a ring of shocking grasp, and elvin chain +5.
He's a tricky one to hit with a Dexterity of 20.
Here's what his stats look like. Keep in mind, we've got a fairly wild
and loose DM. One who allows us to be quite powerful, but throws heavy-duty
monsters at us. 18 /00 Strength (Gauntlets of Ogre Strength) 20 Dexterity
17 Constitution 19 Intellegence 18 Wisdom 17 Charisma He's got an AC -4,
mostly because of the +5 elven chain that is in his possesion. Spells that
he's usually got memorized are the following:

Spells
1.] Detect Magic,
Feather Fall, Hold Portal, Magic Missle, Cantrip, Identify, Spider Climb,
Chromatic Orb, and Shocking Grasp.

Invisibility, Levitate, Melf's Acid Arrow, Web, Mirror Image, Continual
Light, Flame Sphere, and Knock.
3.]
Dispel Magic, Fireball, Flame Arrow, Haste, Lightening Bolt, Melf's Meteor
Shower, and depending on circumstances Fly.
4.]
Ice Storm, Dimension Door, Stone Skin, Remove Curse, Wall of Fire, and
when the situations warrant, Fire Shield, and/or Wall of Ice.
5.]
Dismissal, Teleport, Wall of Force, Conjure Elemental, Telekenisis.
6.]
Chain Lightening, Control Weather, and again when the situation warrants
it these are swapped in, Mordekaine's Lucurbation and Contingency.

Reverse Gravity or Spell Turning, Delayed Blast Fireball.

Slow Poison, Speak with Animals, then sometimes, Resist Cold/Fire.

Some of
his encounters have included: Two nasty encounters with Red Dragons, a
nasty encounter with numerous Bataazue, some run-ins with various Giants,
orcs, etc., and of course, meetings with his species enemy- Evil Drow.
His latest run in included Drow and followers of Cyric. I think you could
say that Dark Solace is now on Cyric's list of people to get even with.
This because he was with a groups of people who blew-up his temple in Hill's
Edge. Bit of advice here for you. If you have a holy sword, don't bring
it into contact with, what in effect is, a unholy energy shield. It went
BOOM! ! !

A run down
of the followers in his forest go something like this:
A Dire Wolf
(My mount, 16 intellegence), a Werebear (Grizzly), a Half-Elf Bard (Minstrel,
male) 8th level, a Herd of Deer [48, 6 of which are intellegent, 11, 11,
10, 7, 11, and 12 respectivly. (Of which the paladin is always joking we
should eat), a Human Thief (Cat Burglar, female) 8th level, Treant, a Wild
Giant Boar, Pixie, Satyr (8th level ranger), an Elf - Shadow weir (Female,
ranger druid, 8th level), and last but not least - a Faire Dragon (Female
- adult).
He is also the incarnation that I use most often in chat rooms. So if you see me, this is most likely who I am. This one hadn't been used for about two months now...
