What I love About Ringo: A poem
This is a poem that was sent to me via email by:Samantha Rain, who is only 12 years old and a big Ringo fan. I had to add it!
What I Love About Ringo
What I love about Ringo, I can't decide,
It could be his big nose or his blue sad eyes.
It can also be his so cute smile,
That sends me into a trance for a while.
Or maybe it's his kindness from his heart,
That part of him will never depart.
And maybe it can be that he is funny,
With his wit he can really cheer up somebody.
Also it can be he is a really great drummer,
The Beatles without him would be a big bummer.
Well guess what? I love all these things about him!
And these feelings for Ringo will never, ever go dim!

I come home, turn on the TV,
The news is on, now what do I see?
I see about the civil war in Yugoslavia,
It pisses me off, and then it makes me want to ask:
WHY CAN’T WE JUST GIVE PEACE A CHANCE?
IT’S NOT TOO HARD, MAN, JUST GIVE IT A CHANCE!
The next day at school, I saw a brawl,
The kids were punching and pushing and all other stuff,
Giving each other nosebleeds, gosh they were tough,
And it makes me want to scream at them:
WHY CAN’T WE JUST GIVE PEACE A CHANCE?
IT’S NOT TOO HARD, MAN, JUST GIVE IT A CHANCE!
Oh my, my, it’s too simple,
I don’t why they can’t do it,
All you have to do is love one another
