Alright, this is a bio about me, where shall I start... hmm... Well, my name is Warren Davis. I'm 5'8 or so, 140 or so lb,. dark brown hair, and brown eyes (pretty average, huh?), born and raised in the boring, dull, lame state of Iowa... horray.
This year I'm a Sophmore at Iowa City High School. Hobbywise I enjoy Writing, Drawing (I still kinda suck at that), models (Warhammer, Warhammer 40K, and those Japanese Mecha models that are semi hard to find in Iowa), Anime (Robotech is THE BEST! Evangelion, Gundam and Lodoss War kick ass too), RTS games, Martial Arts (it'd help if I wasn't such a slacker), and of course, the art of Roleplaying! Here are some Misc. things about me that you might wanna know (and even if you don't, too damn bad!):
1: I'm a Cancer Tiger... which can be extremely annoying at times. Tigers are aggressive, charismic, adventurous, and born leaders, whose element (at least for me and anyone born in 1986), is Fire. Cancers are an entire oppisite, being sensitive, experiencing the full range of emotions, incredibly imaginative, and prefur to stay around home, and those Element is Water. Pretty damn annoying, cause one side of you always regrets the actions of the other side sometimes.
2: In terms of music I'm a rock fan, mostly. But, I do like music that many friends of mine consider crappy (Bon Jovi), and Chinese and Japanese pop (if you can call it that) like Faye Wong, along with much anime music, is enjoyable for me to listen to.
3: I used to have nearly an unlimitd imagination reserve. Unfortunetly, Jr. High and 1st Year of HS has taken it's toll, so it's not as much as it used to be. Still, whether it comes to writing, drawing, or even playing with Legos, I'm still pretty good at them.
4: I used to be somewhat aggressive when it came to fights, but Freshmen year, I pretty much cooled it, so I'm a bit more of a pacifist now (well, kinda).
5: I am part German, Irish, Whelsh, Scottish, and ONE HALF Chinese! It's kinda easy to tell I'm 1/2 Chinese, with the fact I got tan skin, and my eyes.
6: I have a knack for MOST Real Time Stragedy games. I catch on real quick to them. The current ones I've managed to master in a short time are Total Annihilation (a true masterpiece of RTS games, it DOES require good tactics!), Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings (I am a true Calvary Commander), and Star Trek: Armada (I could whoop 3 computer players on hard after 2 days of playing, which is damn good. Federation is god!).
7: In most RPGs, I play either Humans, Elves, or something similar. Preferrably Elves though (Hell, Elves are my favorite race in almost everything, including Warhammer, which I got a High Elf Army in). However, I HATE it when people depict Elves as short little helpers of Santa Claus!!! Character Class/OCC wise, I'm almost always a Man At Arms, especially Knights and Paladins. I'm just that way I guess...
8: I consider myself (and I am) a Lone Wolf, probably because I DO work best alone, while my performance in almost anything goes down when working with others (Ash described me as a "Saotome",), probably due to an Inferiority Complex or something. That, and I'm (believe it not, you probably do) what you might call... "shy"... and I tend to keep to myself. I think I might be a bit on the Sociophobic side, or something.
8: I express a fair interest in the Martial Arts. I am currently taking Bak Fu Pai (White Tiger) Kung Fu.
9: Basic things I dispise in a nutshell: Arrogance, Drugs, most Alcohol (Beer tastes like crap!), people who force their opinions on others, really strict teachers, poor liars (I respect good liars because they are good), people who fight others just to inflict pain and dishonor, senseless violence and killing, showoffs, and Opera, much Pop, and Latin Music.
10: Things I like in a nutshell: Fights/sparring (FOR COMPETITION, NOT HURTING!!!), Rock Music, Honesty, Trust, Swords (mainly Asian types, such as Katanas, Chinese Straight Swords, and Chinese Broadswords, but I like Europeon blades too), and Martial Arts (as mentioned before, I'm learning Bak Fu Pai Kung Fu).
11: MY FAVORITE: Colors: Navy Blue, Grey, and that shade you get when you mix them.
Favorite Book: The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger
Favorite Movie: A bunch, at the time, it's "Theres Something About Mary", and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".
Favorite Video Games: All of the Final Fantasies (the best ones of the bunch being Final Fantasy Tactics, and Final Fantasy IX). Xenogears, and most other Square Games. Age of Kings and Total Annihilation (old favorite) hold a place in my heart too.
Favorite Songs (Never more then 5 listed at a time, but they change regularlly): Bon Jovi "Bed of Roses", Limp Bizkit's "Rearranged", and Metallica's "The Unforgiven". Anime/Game theme wise, Xenogear's "Small Two of Pieces", and Outlaw Star's "Hiru No Tsuki".
Favorite RPG: ROBOTECH! Followed shortly and Palladium Fantasy, Ninjas and Superspies, and Systems Failure.
Favorite Weapon: Japanese Katana (Daito (Longsword)), but Chinese Straight Swords are nice too.
Favorite Manga/Comic: Blade of the Immortal, by Hiroaki Samura.
