DARK ELF RCC STATS

(Note: Yes Yes I know, this has been done... to death... a quadrillion times over. But I'm doing it my version, which is based off the Warhammer (a table type battle game in case you don't know). Warhammer Dark Elves and the traditional Drow (those light sensitive dark skinned evildoers) are 2 different things, so PLEASE, don't artillery shell me with wave after wave of e-mails bitching about this!)

Warhammer History: In the High Elf land of Ulthuan, over 4,000 years before the founding of the Human Empire, after the High Elf Phoenix King, Bel Shanaar's assassination, the Elf Malekith and his followers, having been the ones to kill the Phoenix Knig, flee to the Elf Realm of Nagarythe. Later that year, after the 3rd Phoenix King, Caledor the 1st is coronated, Civil War erupts all over Ulthuan. Elves siding either with the rightful Phoenix King, or Malekith and his Cult of Pleasure. 26 Years into the conflict, Malekith (now known as the Witch King) initiates the Sundering, an attempt to undo the Magical Vortez which had drained away the excess magic of the world, enabling the mortal armies to win against the Chaos armies. While Malekith failed, Ulthuan still felt the effects. Tiranoc, it's with it's long stretches of plains, was covered with huge tidal waves, and much of Nagarythe was suck beneath the waves of the Great Ocean.

Malekith and his followers, however, planned ahead. They're large palaces, with the help of magic, broke away from the land and became large ships. The Black Arks, as they would soon be called, sailed north and made fall on a cold, barren land, which came to be known as Naggaroth.

Since the Sundering, the Elf exiles, now known as Dark Elves, held an everlasting grudge against their High Elf kin, constantly raiding Ulthuan for supplies. The Dark Elves became a thorn in everyones side, raiding other lands for supplies, attacking convoys, and since the Sundering, ended up in 3 large scale wars with their High Elf kin. 1 during the reign of Caradryel the Peacemaker and Tethlis the Slayer, the 2nd during the reign of Morvael the Impetuous, and the 3rd being the Great Chaos Incursion near the beginning of the current Phoenix Kings reign, Finubar the Seafarer. Keep in mind that while Dark Elves outright hate High Elves, High Elves DO NOT show it in return. They are just simply determined to stop the Dark Elves whenever nessicary, since in a way, the Dark Elves are a foe that the High Elves themselves spawned.

PF History: After the Elf-Dwarf War, while most Elves and Dwarves put aside their differences and banded together to get rid of the most destructive Magic And Magic items, there were a few elves who didn't want to forsake the dark arts. They were corrupted by their own lust for power, and were banished from the remains of the Elven New/Old Kingdom after a long period of war between the 2 factions. The records of the gruesome battles were lost over the passage of time...

No one, Elf, Dwarf, or Human ever knew of what happened to the Banished Elves, later to be called the Dark Elves. While many Dark Elves lay hidden around the known Palladium world, mainly in the lightly populated areas such as the Baalgor Wastelands and Old Kingdom, but the majority of the Dark Elves fled across the northern seas to a cold, and bleak land previously undiscovered. They named it Naggaroth, and it is there that the Dark Elves settled and continued to study the dark arts that most races forbid to be studied.

Little did the Dark Elves know, however, that the arctic land they stumbled across was carpeted all over with Ley Lines(a lesser version of Rifts Earths own Magic Zone), as well as several Nexus points and a large Super Nexus.

Many years of practicing Black Magic and living in such a magic rich enviorment have made them masters of the Dark Arts, and have also caused mutations within the genetic pool of the Dark Elves, giving them several advantages and disadvantages compared to their Human loving kin. Dark Elves have a rather high resistance to magic. And Dark Elves have also developed a rather strong tolerance for poison. Many Dark Elf weapons actually drip poison constantly (as in every single minute, compared to a Venomblades ability to do it only a few times a day, see Western Empires for more informations on the Venomblade option for swords).

Dark Elves look like any other elf, except they are much paler and are much, much, crueler.
