FENRIR

NOTE(S): These Gears are NOT made for Rifts! They are made to be up to par with their own world stats, not to be thrown into some big Maelstrom of Hellspawn and Munchkinism otherwise known as Rifts Earth. Please keep that in mind before bombarding me with emails! Of course, MDC aside, this Gear could probably beat the living shit out of most Rifts Robots, which is why caution should be applied ANYTIME you wish to give this Gear to a PC.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Fenrir is an Omnigear whose original creator before the alignment with the Anima Relic was the Holy Empire of Solaris. This is also The Gear of Doctor Citan Uzuki. He first gained overship of Fenrir (A Gear aligned with an Anima Relic) when he was a part of Solaris, but after leaving Solaris he gave the Gear to the Sage Gasper for safekeeping. The Gear is White with Jade Green Trim, and being an Omnigear, it has solid armor (not segmented), so the armor sections are in one solid piece. It's primary weapon is a Sword, which Fenrir is specially calibrated to use, and which can cut through most other Gears with ease. While it lacks Andvari's Armor, and El-Stier's power, it makes up for it in speed.

Flying: From a stay in place hover up to 775 Repsol (467.325MPH/751.75KPH), with unlimited range save for fuel. Crusing speed is around 100-300KPH.

WEAPON SYSTEMS:

1: GEAR SWORD: Fenrir's primary and only weapon (besides hand to hand) is it's Sword, typically as big as the Gear itself (around 50ft Long!). Extremely hard and sharp, it's able to cut through most other Gears with ease.

Size: Typically 50ft. Long. Double or Single Edged, and Straight or Curved.

Primary Purpose: Chop Everything to Hell Assault(See Also: Severing Gear Limbs, Turning Enemy Pilot Compartments into a bloody mess, and Fancy Demonstrations)

Damage: Slash does 1D6X10 MDC. A Stab does 4D6 MDC, but can possibly damage internal systems (and possibly go straight through a pilots compartment). A Power Slash (takes 2 attacks) does 2D8X10 MDC. In Addition, everytime a part other then the Main Body is Struck (Such as an Arm, Head, Leg, Thruster, Weapon, etc), there is a 1D6X10% the Limb/Head/Whatever will be chopped clean off. For every 200 MDC that part has left, subtract 10% from the roll. For Strikes to the main body, Theres a 1D4X10% that an extra 1D6X10 MD will be inflicted on the pilots compartment. .

Number of Attacks: Equal to Pilot's Hand to Hand/Mecha Combat.

Payload: N/A. It's a Sword, no ammo.

2: INFINITY LEVEL: An ability used by all Omnigears (and Xenogears). Infinity Level occurs when the Gear's Generator Output and Combat Potential reaches it's Max. When this happens, the Gear's strength and speed increases. In order to reach Infinity Level, Fenrir must be in active combat for at least 3 melees.

Chance of Hitting Infinity Level Each Round after 3 Melees: The chance starts at 1D4X10%, and for each additional round after 3, an additional 1D10% is added.

Duration: Infinity Level only lasts ONE melee. After that, the Gear has vented/used up all the extra energy from it's generator and returns to normal.

Bonuses while in Infinity Level: Fuel Use drops down to almost nothing, and Charge is X10 as potent. +2 Attacks, +3 Init for the start of the Infinity Level Round, +3 Autododge, +3 to Parry with Sword, +2 to Strike. In Addition, all Speeds are double. Ether Induction temporarily jumps to 70%.

3: HAND TO HAND: Use Rifts Robot Combat, Robotech Mecha Combat (Any Veritech or Gladiator Destroid,), or Macross II Valkyrie Combat. Unlike Heimdal or Weltall-2, Fenrir relies more on it's Sword then it's Mechanized Fists or Feet. But compared to the average Gear, an Omnigear by any standards is powerful.

Restrained Punch: 1D4 MDC.

Normal Strength Punch: 4D6 MDC.

Full Strength Punch: 1D4X10+10 MDC.

Power Punch (requires 2 attacks): 1D6X10+15 MDC.

Restrained Kick/Knee: 1D6 MDC.

Kick: 4D6 MDC.

Full Strength Kick: 1D6X10+5 MDC.

Flying/Jump Kick (takes all attacks): 2D6X10 MDC.

Thruster Punch/Kick (takes all attacks): 1D6X10+15 MDC.

Body Blow: 2D6+4 MDC plus a 60% chance of knocking the target down, causing loss of init. and 2 attacks.

Body Tackle: 1D8 MDC and a 80% chance of knocking and pinning the target down, meaning loss of attacks and init until targets gets out from under Fenrir.

Stomp: 1D8 MDC (Can only be done to Targets under 14ft. tall).

SYSTEM BONUSES: Fenrir, being an Omnigear, has incredible response and targeting systems, as well as agility. +2 Attacks, +2 to Strike (+4 with Sword), +3 to Parry (+5 with Sword), and +3 to Dodge along with a +2 Auto Dodge, and +2 Init. For Infinity Mode bonuses, see above.
