The games section will be pretty basic for now. They are very simple in graphics and gameplay, but can also become very addicting. I'll try and update this section with some better games when I figure out how. But until then, I will include my high score for each of the games to give you something to strive for. If you can manage to beat one of my outstanding scores, e-mail me, and I will update the scores to include yours. Enjoy, but remember, play responsibly. Oh yeah, You'll need Shockwave to play all of these games. I'd assume most of you already have it, but if not, you can download it here.
I wouldn't even really call this a game, but it is sort of amusing. Answer a series of questions, and then let the processor determine if you're a stud, or a dud. It has a minimal amount of questions, but the fun should stay fresh for a few tries. Try it out and see what you think, e-mail me with questions and comments.
This game is pretty basic, but still very fun. In case you didn't guess already, you are a child on the night of Halloween. As you make your way from door to door, remember to catch only the "goodies" and not the "cheap treats". Make sure to check the right side of the screen to see this before every new level. There are only three "levels", but the treats constantly change to add to the variety. Try it out and see what you think, e-mail me with questions and comments.
First of all, no, I didn't mistype that. It's the "Revenge of Yar's Revenge". It sounds a little repetitive to me, but oh well. The story behind this game is that you are Yar, a forgotten character from an old Atari 2600 game. Your motive is to take out all the more popular characters that that stole your glory. This game plays much like a normal arcade shooter, the enemies fly down at you, and you try and shoot them before they collide with you. Overall, the best of the Angelfire games, although I highly doubt "Papa Smurf" or "The Kool-Aid Guy" were characters in Atari 2600 games. You guessed it! In this game you are the "Gobblenator". An average turkey, who got pushed too far. He is fed up with all his friends being cooked for Thanksgiving dinner, and will do anything it take to stop this. Even if that means killing hundreds of helpless pilgrims. This game plays more like "Whak-a-Mole" than any conventional shooter, but is still very entertaining. You have unlimited ammo, so feel free to shoot to your heart's content. Kind of a corny name, goes right along with a kind of corny game. You play as some guy (most likely the game's creator) who is traveling though the asteroid belt. To save your puny ship from harm, you must destroy the asteroids before they destroy you. Gameplay is extremely simple on this game, just move up or down and shoot. You ship is constantly moving, so this adds to the challenge. Try it out and see what you think, e-mail me with questions and comments.
Call the patent office!! Looks like someone has taken good ol' "Ski-Free" and made it into some crappy snowboarding game. And that's basically all I have to say. The gameplay is much like Ski-Free, although the large graphics make it harder to avoid obstacles. The addition of some new tricks is nice, but after a while, they get tiresome. Try it out and see what you think, e-mail me with questions and comments.
