The Wrath of Medusa
2014 we tried a little greek mythology with Medusa's head of serpents, and eyes that turn a living being into stone. Never look Medusa
in the eyes. This float featured Medusa, a Minataur, gargoyles, and a poor victim of the spider Arakhne.
2014 could be the last year of the Keck Family tributes to Halloween. Should this be our last
year, we must say it's been a lot of fun over the last 12 Halloween Seasons and memories we'll cherish forever.

Dr Frankenstein's Laboratory of Horrors
2013 put us in Dr. Frankenstein's lab. Our float was a haunted mansion on the outside and a
laboratory on the inside. Dr. Frankenstein held captive many of the classic monsters including the Bride of Frankenstein, Werewolf, Mummy and Dracula.
Although the monsters were just out of reach, the good dr. worked tiressly in trying to bring Frankenstein to life.

Halloween Ghostly Ghouls
2011 took us into a new realm; the underworld. We decided to try our hand at something more scary for a change.
This year we were a family of ghosts, hanging out in a cemetery on wheels. We are probably some of the best dressed ghosts you'll ever see.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Keck Family join DIFL
In 2010, our Keck family joined our DIFL football league in a march in the Dubuque parade. Costumes were very easy this year, but we still made the float for the league by creating a couple of huge bobbleheads, and constructing the typical goal posts used for most football theme floats. We had well over 180 boys and girls join in the parade as well as over 50 parents and coaches.

Little Mermaid-Under the Sea
2009 took us to the depths of the sea as we became
the characters from the Little Mermaid. Our cast included Ariel, King Triton, Sebastian and Ursula the Sea Witch.
We also added a few other loveable characters in the stuffed animal fashion consisting of Flounder, Flotsam and Jetsam. We had some great music clips from the movie as we stolled down the parade streets!
Check out our costumes on page 1 and also some pictures of our float on page 2.

Our theme went just a tad on the more traditional scary side of Halloween, if you can really call these ghouls scary.
Oh yah - this year we did a float, and saved ourselves from walking!. See page 1 for some marshmellow sweeties!
