Shorts Woods Park Mound

The Shorts Woods Park Mound is located in eastern part of Shorts Woods Golf Course. The elliptical mound is 8.3’ high and 113’ x 90’ in basal diameters. The mound is fenced, but can be viewed from near the intersection of Fernbank and Dahlia Avenues or the northwest end of the home City Avenue.

Directions: Follow U.S. route 50 W from downtown Cincinnati about 9 miles to Lee Park, then N on Elco Street .25 miles, then NW on Home City Avenue .4 miles to Shorts Woods Golf Course. The Mound lies near the end of the Home City Avenue.
