Words to the Body
Take These to the Highest Level
Brothers and sisters in Christ, I was in morning prayer when The Spirit of God showed me the following:
I saw the universe; stars, planets, dark blue sky, all from the perspective of one on the ground looking up towards the heavens. At once a hole opened up in the sky through which a very large harpoon came hurdling through, towards the earth. The harpoon had a rope attached to it, much like a whaler’s harpoon, and the rope followed the harpoon through the hole in the sky, down to the earth.
At that time my perspective changed. I was on the ground when the harpoon landed. It came down out of the sky and crashed right through the middle of a church building, planting itself in the soil beneath the church. What happened next was incredible. As quickly as the harpoon had left heaven for earth and found its mark it was yanked backward out of the ground, and back into the sky; with the church building attached to it! The ground under the church was pulled up with it, much like a plant that has been pulled up with its roots. This left a great crater behind where the church once stood. After that, the crater filled up with water and people gathered from all around. I recognized them as professing Christians. Some of them jumped into the water, splashing and playing and trying out their various swimming strokes and techniques. They were having what appeared to be a very good time. However, others knelt on one knee around the outer rim of the crater and cupped water in their hands and drank carefully, almost reverently.
Abruptly, the water began to drain out of the crater. Those who had jumped into the water were thrashing about in the mud and attempting to climb out of the muddy pit that they were now in. They didn’t make it out. Those who were left standing were those who had knelt around the crater’s perimeter and cupped the water in their hands, sipping it slowly. Reverently. It was then that I heard this, “Take these to the highest level”!
Brothers and sisters we must reverence our Lord Jesus Christ, the Living Water. With revelation comes responsibility. Those who will attain the high calling in Christ Jesus won’t just have revelation; they’ll conduct their lives properly so that they can protect it. We mustn’t become so familiar with Him that we play in His Spirit’s flow, forgetting that He is our Holy God, our Blessed Savior, and our Righteous King. We must not make common those things that He calls Holy, nor call holy what He calls common. He is The Lord, He is our God, strong in battle, swift and mighty, Holy, Righteous, and True! Whom shall we fear? We shall fear only Him! Yahweh, God of Israel! He alone is our God! May He bless you richly for evermore!
The Revolution (JUNE 2000)
As I was praying with my two year old son one evening he and I had a visitation from the Spirit of God. I had laid my hand on my son's head to pray over him when I felt an intense rush coursing through my body. I knew it was God as I had felt this before at times when He had spoken to or through me, or when He was just simply changing me supernaturally.
I saw in the spirit the upstairs of an apartment complex. In one room there was intense light pouring forth from every possible crevice. The door of the apartment was indistinguishable because the light that poured through the crevices was so bright. The same was true for the window to the front room. I knew immediately that Jesus was inside, with several angels, and with many persons. They were all conversing with one another as though this were a typical event; The Lord was teaching and conversing with the saints. The angels were there too.
It was then that Jesus turned and said, "There's a revolution coming, and light will triumph over darkness! There's a revolution coming and light will overcome darkness!"
Brothers and sisters, the coming revolution has now been confirmed in the mouths of more than two or three. Viva la revolucion!
Warning of Judgment
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Praise our Lord Jesus, and bless Him for all of His excellent works! May God always richly bless you! I have been given a word from The Lord that He has asked me to give to the Church in general. This has never happened for me before, that The Lord would ask me to send a word abroad, so I’m both very excited and apprehensive at the same time. I hope and believe you can understand how I feel. I don’t know what more to say except here it is. “Let the prophets judge…”
I was in prayer on the morning of June 22, 1998, when The Lord allowed me to see the walls of a medieval castle. I then heard The Spirit of God say, “Give this message to the Church. Set your house in array for the tempter has come to take you away. Many will lose their lives because of their arrogance. Because they say ‘I am rich and am not poor’. They will die. They will be smitten. They shall learn of Me in harshness, in the gall of bitterness. And I shall reign over them with force and cruelty for they do not hearken unto My prophets nor do they hearken unto My Word. But you will I set on high who hear Me and obey Me. You shall never fail. You shall never fail. Because I Am The Lord your God that saveth thee. Thus saith The Lord your God Almighty.”

The “Dead Woman” demon
(Given Dec. 9, 1999)
The Lord stirred me in my sleep early in the morning and began to show me several demons that were at work in the body of Christ. One such demon was referred to as the “dead woman” demon. That demon was revealed to me in the following way:
I saw (in a vision) a woman, from the back, nude from the waist up. She was facing a mirror and brushing her hair as though she had just come out of the shower and was grooming and dressing for the day. To my surprise, I saw that the woman’s hair came out in large clumps as she brushed her hair. The clumps of hair were so large that bald spots were left all over the woman’s head. The woman moved with slow and methodic movements, standing in front of the mirror and brushing her hair, pulling out clumps as she brushed. She turned at once to look at me and then I noticed that she had very, very dark rings around her eyes and looked as though she were staring right through me. She turned back around and continued brushing. At that time The Spirit of God said, “This is the ‘dead woman’ demon. This demon attacks Christians who hate their lives, hate what they’re doing, but continue on anyway because they think that will prove that they are ‘dead to the flesh’ when they really are under the judgment of God.”
As most Christians will quickly see, the woman represents the body of Christ (Eph. 5:22-24). The hair represents the woman’s covering (I Cor. 11:15). The woman’s hair was being pulled out by her own actions! This represents the judgment of God as the covering was being removed by the woman’s own (seemingly harmless, seemingly appropriate) actions! We must beware! As God removed the covering or hedge from Samson (through his own actions, by removing his hair), and as God allowed Judas to betray himself by his own actions we must be sure that we have not removed ourselves from under the protective cover of our Almighty God and Father! Amen.

Beware of the Leaven of Hypocrisy
“Beware of the leaven of hypocrisy, for many seek their own way. Many seek to be recognized. And yet they know not the words that I have given concerning them. It is I Who said I give grace unto the humble, but God resisteth the proud. Ye are not humble but proud in that ye say and you think in your hearts, “I am right and I am not wrong.” No one is right. I Am is right. Yahweh God is only right. You are always wrong. It is sin, it is sin it is sin. If you will not seek my face on this matter, you will be lead astray and given over to your pride. You will not overcome nor will you abide in me. And I will cast you off forever as I warned my son Solomon. I want to make you pure and righteous, not “right”. I Am The Lord thy God that saveth thee.”
Brothers and sisters this Word from The Lord came at a time when there was much arguing taking place about issues of doctrine and “correct theology”. We need the doctrine of The Lord. Yet, we mustn’t ever begin to think that “our” doctrine is correct. If we are correct on any matter concerning The Word of God it is because He has given us revelation and His teaching on the matter. It is His. We are His. The earth is His and the fullness thereof. May The Glory of The Lord fill your hearts this day in Christ Jesus! Amen.
The “Light” Fixture
The Lord stirred me in my sleep early in the morning and began to show me several demons that were at work in the body of Christ. One such demon was revealed to me in the following way:
I saw in a vision what appeared to be a light fixture hanging from the ceiling in a house. I noticed that the fixture was a head that was camouflaged with a “ghillie suit”, it had no body but it was alive, and it had large yellow eyes. This head just hung there looking straight ahead and not moving. It reminded me of the way that a hunter’s animal trophy heads look when mounted on the wall. The difference was that I knew this head was alive.
[For those who don’t know, the ghillie suit camouflage worn by this demon consists essentially of burlap strips attached to the clothing of a hunter or military/police sniper who is “on the stalk”. These suits offer excellent camouflage when designed properly. I have studied some military science in the past, thus God has chosen at times to refer to these types of images when speaking with me.]
It was approximately two weeks after The Lord showed this vision to me that He told me to write down what I saw. I was writing down another vision pertaining to a demonic attack against the Church (the “dead woman” demon) when The Holy Spirit began speaking to me about the meaning of the “light” fixture. I had meditated on the whole vision often, asking The Lord what the yellow eyes meant when He said, “Look it up in The Bible”. I thought, “Oh sure, the word yellow is in The Bible!” To my surprise, it was.
The Hebrew words numbered 3418 (the root), 3422, and 6669 in Strong’s Concordance are the words that were translated as yellow in The Bible. The word means “golden”, or, “the yellow-green of a sickly vegetation”. That spoke to me. Jesus tells us in John 15 that we are the branches of The True Vine, or in other words, His vegetation. Also, The Lord makes it clear to us through Isaiah 5 that God refers to us as a vineyard. That is, we are His vegetation. The Bible also tells us that the focus of our eyes (that which we fix our eyes upon) will have a huge impact on our course in life. In fact, The Word tells us that the light of the body is the eye and that the whole body will be full of light if that eye is single (Matt. 6:22). But it also says that the whole body will be full of darkness if that eye is evil and if the “light” in us is darkness, how great that darkness (Matt. 6:23)!
You see; this demon had large yellow eyes. In God’s creation what type of animals have yellow eyes? Animals that see in the dark do. Also, ask any hunter and you’ll find out that the best optical devices for low light (dark) conditions have large lenses on them. The large lens affords the optimal amount of vision at night. But The Word says that we are not of the night, or darkness, but we are of The Light. So, why were this demon’s eyes yellow? The eyes of this demon were yellow because it focused on the sickly vegetation in God’s vineyard! That was what its eyes were full of. Like the wolf, it was not attacking the strong of the flock, it was focused on the sickly green vegetation, and it was looking for them in the darkness as was indicated by the size and color of its eyes. Why the ghillie suit? Because this demon is camouflaged! In fact, it was camouflaged very well in that it was very silent and motionless, like a hunter or sniper that had completed the stalk and it hung in a house as a light fixture. Light. Fixture. Fixed, in place. That is very important. This demon gives “light” to the Christian(s) that entertain it and get their counsel from it. But how great is that darkness! Finally, what would this demon be hunting for? What would a demonic head be looking for? It was looking for a body. Why would it stalk or hunt for the sickly vegetation in the first place? To gather them together for its body, that’s why. This head had no body of its own, it needed a body, and it will attempt to form that body with Christians that allow it to give them “light” in place of The True Light from above, Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior! Brothers and sisters, beware! Beware!
Christ is the head of the Church, amen? Amen (see Col. 1:18; 2:10). This demonic head represents the spirit of antichrist, attempting to govern the body of Christ in His stead (I John 4:3; II Cor. 11:14-15). It attempts to usurp the authority given by Christ to His Church and Church leaders (Eph. 4:8-16; Luke 9:1-2; Mark 13:34). This is a demonic spirit desiring to rule in the Church.
Brothers and sisters, we must pray for our God given authority figures with fervent might as they lead us on to glory in these last days (James 5:16-17; I Tim. 2:1-3). Resist every spirit, and every person that attacks the unity or spiritual authority placed in your life by God. Beware of the false light that resides in the darkness, masquerading as The True Light and wisdom from above, preying upon the spiritually weak. Finally brethren, be strong in The Lord, and in The Power of His Might! Bless The Lord and His Mighty Name, for He is our Strong Tower! Amen.
Climbing The Mountain
(8/27/00)
In prayer one morning I saw the cape of a man who was standing before me. I don’t know why it was his cape that I saw, or what the cape means, but that’s what I saw first. It looked like the type of cape that comic superheroes sometimes wear, in that it was tucked into the man’s shirt at the neckline and flowed down and out from there. I saw that from the perspective of looking down at the top of the man’s head. Once I realized it was a person standing in front of me I began to see his front. He had a headband on and was carrying a walking stick that was slightly taller than he was. He said, “You must climb the mountain. It’s a long journey. Follow me, I have a plan”. He turned and walked toward a door that was behind him.
When he said, “It’s a long journey” I realized at that moment that “long” meant practically a lifetime! I “saw” it. I followed the man through the door into a room that had a map on a small table and two chairs on either side of the table. We sat down. He pointed to a very large and tall mountain on the map and said, “Your plan has been to circle the mountain until ‘something’ picks you up and takes you up the mountain. Climbing the mountain is a work of faith. Fasting will make the journey shorter. You must fast and pray and believe The Word to climb the mountain”. As he said these things I was seeing the mountain in my mind’s eye. When he said that I must fast I saw how the journey would be shortened by fasting. A person who was fasting seemed to cover large parts of the mountain terrain with little or no effort. It was like the mountain had portions cut out of it making it a shorter journey.
I also saw that certain parts of the mountain terrain required slow and methodic movement, it was quite perilous at times. When I thought about the peril he said, “Along the way you will meet those who have given up and are no longer climbing the mountain”. I saw at that instant many who were sliding backwards down steep segments, falling off ledges, or just walking down the mountain. I thought then, “What about the blood of Jesus”? I had recently heard an admonition from a brother about the blood of Jesus (Amen!) so it was fresh in my mind and I wanted to know. He answered my thought by saying, “All those found in Christ Jesus shall be saved”. I sensed then that this was about more than elementary salvation. Climbing this mountain was about knowing God and having Christ Jesus formed in me to a greater extent. It’s about what we were saved for; apprehending that which we have been apprehended for as Paul tells us in Philippians 3:12.
I knew what he meant by “circling the mountain until something picked me up” right away. That was essentially how I was saved. Jesus just walked into my life one day and swooped me off my feet. I had heard about “the mountain” before [see the many scripture references about God’s Holy Mountain in His Word] but up until now I had no real personal understanding about how to climb it! I’m looking forward to this journey brothers and sisters. Perhaps you already know about this and are climbing the mountain yourself. Amen! Praise The Lord. I’ll see you at the top brothers and sisters. This is apparently a very long journey, so follow your guide (John 16:13) and climb!
Stay Out of the Mainstream
Brothers and sisters, several years ago The Holy Spirit imparted a teaching to me that has impacted my walk in many ways. A look to the scriptures will reveal The Father has a consistent pattern regarding this issue. Consider the following:
“Many are called, few are chosen; Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matt. 7:13-14)”.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity (Matt. 7: 21-23)”.
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of (II Peter 2: 1,2)”.
Consider the following as well:
David numbered Israel and promptly incurred the wrath of God for doing so (I Chronicles 21). And Gideon’s army was whittled down greatly before God would let them move on to victory. See Judges chapter 7.
Now consider this vision given to me several years ago:
I saw a large stream with seemingly fresh water flowing at a rapid pace before me. It was the kind of stream that one might think to stop and drink from while on a long day’s journey through a forest or while on a hike in the mountains. The water was clear. I could see the rocks that rested on the bottom of the stream’s bed. Naturally, there were fish in the stream. However, they were not normal. They were large fish. They looked like trophy size trout. But, they were all dead. One by one they floated downstream, “going with the flow” of the stream, turned upside down. They weren’t swimming, they weren’t trying to swim or turn themselves over that I could see; they were just floating downstream.
I then noticed a small tributary breaking off of the larger stream and flowing in a different direction. Though much smaller, the fish in the tributary were alive and they were swimming vigorously. They had to swim vigorously because (I soon noticed) they were swimming upstream! They were swimming upstream and they were making progress. Slowly and methodically, with very much effort they were making progress! It was then that The Holy Spirit said to me, “Stay out of the mainstream”. I’ve endeavored to do exactly that ever since.
Where are you today brother/sister? Fighting your way forward in the small tributary or floating down the mainstream with the dead fish? Have you taken security amongst the masses, afraid to go on with God to fresher springs because the fear of man has you bound to tradition?
God did not want David’s attention drawn to the numbers with him but rather to the power of God working for him. Nor did He want Gideon’s army to attribute the victory He was going to give them to their own strength or numbers. Pray, and may God grant us His Wisdom. We must resist the fear that prevents us from coming out and being separate, laying down all dead works. We must fight our way through the dead to The Living Stream and Fresh Water of Jesus Christ our Lord! We must side with those who will shout “The Sword of The Lord” and live in The Spirit with them, partaking in The Holy Communion and unity that our Lord Jesus prayed we would have. Break away now and seek refuge in His Holy camp. Death will come to those who try to do The Lord’s bidding without partaking of His freshest supply. Stay fresh. Stay holy. Stay out of the mainstream.
Warriors Up!
I was in prayer early in the morning when The Father said, “Will you die for me”? As He spoke I saw myself being beheaded in a guillotine. I answered him, “Yes, Lord”. He said to me again, “Will you die for me”? This time I saw myself being tortured. I thought a moment and answered, “Yes, Lord”. He said to me again, “Will you die for me”? As He spoke these Words the third time I saw myself being drug behind a vehicle. I really had to think this time and managed to answer, “Yes, Lord”. Finally, He showed me members of my family being martyred at gunpoint and He asked me, “Will you die for me”? I managed again to answer, “Yes, Lord”.
There was silence, then He said this to me: “No one will follow the next brigade of warriors to the top of The Mountain. I’ve made provision for you in Zechariah 6 but you must come alone. The way is set. The Light is lit, and again I say unto you no one will come with you. You’ve begun climbing The Mountain.”
With those Words I saw climbers with ropes and picks ascending up the face of a sheer cliff-together-yet alone. There were only a handful of them climbing and they did not pay any attention to each other. They were close enough to reach out and touch each other with little effort but didn’t. The climb was straight up using only ropes and picks, very difficult. The altitude was so high that clouds were engulfing the climbers as they moved upward. I knew immediately that the air must be very thin. The Holy Ghost then said to me, “You must prepare your heart for the high altitude. Keep calling for purity, ask for purity.” This was an answer to prayer. I had been involved in a praise and worship service two nights before and found myself praying for purity at one point in the service. I believe that particular prayer, given to me no doubt by The Holy Spirit, had prompted the instructions that I was at that time receiving. I then realized that these climbers were headed toward heaven. Not just upward or high into the heavens, but into HEAVEN. Not for their eternal reward. They had a different purpose.
I immediately began to panic about the words, “…you must come alone” and thought of the many people that I know and love. I thought mostly of my family. Then He said this to me, “Your family will come if you clothe them in prayer”. Feeling bold I thought to myself, “Aha, I can pray and use faith to bring others up The Mountain”. Knowing my thoughts The Lord then said to me, “You must not fight for them”. I then saw that the original climbers were hindered by other persons ill prepared for the rough terrain. They didn’t have ropes, picks, or any of the other gear that the original climbers had. These newcomers weighed the original climbers down and caused them to stop climbing.
The Lord then said, “You must go to the top. Those that go to the top set the course for others”. I was beginning to get the picture. The first up are like God’s pathfinders. If they don’t go it spells trouble for all. They go higher than the last move and they go alone so that others may find the way up higher. But, they must travel solo unless they are with those who are likewise moving to the top. Even then, they are not concerned as much with who’s next to them as they are with what God is instructing them to do next. In general, I think the average spirit filled Church member knows this. What we might not realize was made apparent to me by the next statement.
Next He said to me, “The Mountain will take you right to heaven-where few people have walked”. God wasn’t talking about getting revelations from heaven, about heaven, or dying and then going to heaven. He was talking about walking in heaven-while alive on earth! And the climb requires purity. The next brigade of warriors is tasked with the climb that takes them up to The Light I saw at the very top of The Mountain. As I had been told previously, the way was lit. This of course is God’s Holy Mountain lit by The Light of Jesus Christ, Author and Finisher of our faith.
I was flooded with thoughts, revelations I believe (at least to me). One revelation was more meaningful to me than others. It was this; there were different peaks on the mountain. And, the people who were on them didn’t know they weren’t at the very top of The Mountain. I saw people standing on top of peaks and celebrating, jumping and shouting in triumph not realizing they were on lower peaks, not the top. But for each of them, they were done climbing. Not in heaven, but done climbing. They had gone far, but they weren’t standing in heaven. Don’t stop climbing until you’re standing in heaven!
Something else stands out about what I saw. The Father called the people who were climbing the steep face warriors. But, I was told my family would come if they were clothed in prayer. So, the warriors are going up the mountain first, but the way is open to others. So climb.
I can’t explain the feelings I had as I received this information but I know this is not just another “Hey, we can get closer to God” message. For example, let’s just “do the math”. God is moving a whole brigade of warriors into heaven. Warriors. Not Apostles, Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers, and Prophets…warriors…into heaven. Logic suggests then that God is about to wage all out war here on earth. It’s probably worse than even that.
The warriors I saw didn’t even seem to care that others were climbing next to them. They were that focused and intense. Like an army, they all wore the same clothes. They had the demeanor of mercenaries and trained killers. Machine like perfection and dedication to the task at hand was their modus operandi. Tell me, why would God be calling brothers and sisters (warriors) like that to heaven (besides to worship Jesus)? What will they be tasked with here on earth? What is God about to do here on earth?
Brothers and sisters read Zechariah 6. There is provision there for all called to war for Jesus at this time. Come alone, come seeking purity, come clothed in prayer and prepared for a very large-scale war. Bring your pick, rope, and goggles. Follow The Light of Jesus Christ all the way to the top. Don’t settle for lower peaks. Don’t let anyone keep you from climbing. Don’t stop until you’re in heaven. Bless The Lord for all His wonderful works!
Old Tools
As I pray and listen these days it seems that I am seeing how the use of "old tools" is in many instances prohibiting the building of "new things". This is of course related to dying to the flesh, but it's closer to discerning what flesh is...our own flesh that is.
At varying stages God has allowed us to walk without understanding in many areas. Wrongly, we've often grown accustomed to His permissive will and have adopted the standards of the "permissive will walk" as though those standards were pleasing to God. Well, they were pleasing to God then just as an ex-heroin addict's occasional marijuana use is pleasing to God for a brief moment. ["You're moving in the right direction".]
But, "moving in the right direction" is not the same as "being there". It's not the same as God's perfect will. And now, the old tools, such as the one exemplified in the above paragraph [substituting a "lesser" evil for a "greater" evil] won't do. Persons walking that way now, who aren't babes in the kingdom, will not be used in the kingdom. Those persons aren't God's servants they're liabilities! We should be His servants.
Children of God, we need clearer discernment. God has to burn away the old dross and we have to let go of the "old tools" of manipulation, dependency, self-pity, anger, self-promotion, and all other impure motives. His kingdom is being set-IN ORDER-so we must get in OUR proper order. Being out of God's Divine order now is akin to asking to be put on a shelf. He can't tolerate us standing in the way if His kindgdom is indeed going to come. We all know His kingdom is The Only Everlasting Kingdom, Amen? Amen! May His kingdom come!
Brother and sister, ask God to reveal what's His and what's yours-in you. Then, let go of what's not of Him! He loves you and He wants you using His all powerful tools to accomplish His perfect will! Even so Lord Jesus come quickly!
"I'm Removing Whole Branches"
The following is something that I was given in corporate prayer two weeks ago. Pray and may God give us all wisdom. Please read Romans 11:11-36 as I believe that passage is relative. I believe this is about Israel and The Church.
I saw the edge of a large circular power saw blade. It took a bit of time for me to realize that what I saw was a hand held circular saw and that someone was holding it. The saw was running.
Once I realized what the saw was I was able to see from a distance that the man holding the saw was standing in front of a tree. He was wearing goggles, and he looked back at me and smiled before turning toward the tree and applying the saw to the base of a large branch on the tree. When he started cutting this rather large branch a voice said, "I'm cutting whole branches off the tree".
I then saw the tree standing, whole, healthy. I could see the places on the trunk where branches had been cut away. Many large branches were gone by reason of the cutting.
The branches that were cut off were next seen as they were being pulverized in a saw mill. They were reduced to chips of wood, mixed with a glue like substance, and pressed into sheets of paper. They came out of an assembly line one sheet at a time.
A man stood at the assembly line and picked up the sheets of paper one by one and began writing on them. On some he wrote "Judgement", then he bent over and handed the sheets forward to areas on his right and his left. The man always bent over and down to hand out those sheets. I believe the sheets were given to areas or localities and not just individual persons. This is my belief.
On other sheets the man wrote "Blessing" or "Honor". He distributed those sheets to his right and left, but he always handed them upward, not downward. It was as if he was handing them up to a place higher than where he was standing.
The Holy Spirit then said, "Write the vision".
A True Confession
There are many things that we, as children of God or Christians as we like to call ourselves, should know. We often times tell others about, for instance, the goodness of God. We use His faithfulness as a "selling point" when we speak of Him to others, hoping they would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior as we do, ensuring them that (as Jesus said) He will never leave them alone. Over time, we would likely all have to admit that at one time or another we have felt that He has not kept up His end of the bargain. That is, though we testify that "He's never left us" (and, He hasn't), we'd probably also say there's been plenty of times that we've felt all alone in the world. Agreed? Tell the truth…
Well, I'd have to agree to the statement. He's always been here, there, near…but I've had my times of wondering why I couldn't seem to get a hold of Him! Sort of, "Ok, I know you're there - but I need you right here", know what I mean? God and I have gone round and round on that one at times. It's as if "going from faith to faith" meant going from times of faith through times of no faith to a time of faith again! Peaks and valleys, peaks and valleys! Well, today I have to testify. I have to testify about the faithfulness of The Lord Jesus. I have to testify about the goodness of His character.
It started around 10 pm last night. I don't know what bothered me, but something did. I somehow became unsettled about events taking place around me, the world, the future and "the price of tea in China" as my mother used to say. I had learned that a dear friend and close relative was in need of healing. I had thoughts of the weakness of humans and the plight of the world since the fall of man. I had trouble making it all add up. Ever been there? Sort of like "I know all things work together for good, but why does there have to be so much bad in the world"? You'd have to know my mind to understand my question. I seek for solutions. To me, God is the ultimate solution on top of being the Supreme God. He's everything. In my naiveté I ask Him why He doesn't just "fix" the world's ills since I know He can. He has the power! I always want Him to use that power (or let me!).
Well, I went to bed a bit disgruntled and probably trying to sleep the problems away. This didn't solve anything. The Holy Spirit woke me early and I, being a "good soldier", thought it was He coming to get me so that we could pray. But I was in no mood. Zilch. I actually tried to ignore Him. After all, I was in no mood to praise God or feign hope. I had deep problems to solve and questions to answer! I was trying to rest so that I could think! But, He kept nudging…one hour went by, two, three…this is one of the reasons we call Him faithful! He kept nudging me. Finally I got up. I knew it was the right thing to do. I knew I had been wrong, after all, where do I get off ignoring God? I was in trouble with myself if not with Him! "You just don't do that"! But, I thought, a reprieve; I didn't totally ignore Him, did I? I did get up earlier than usual, and I had "prayed" during the three hours of nudging-I just didn't get out of the bed. I wasn't a total rebel, right?
I finally made it to prayer. I mean real "I'm awake and here to seek you" type prayer. I noticed His presence immediately. In fact He's still here…I thought wow, what is going to happen to day that He's so interested in preparing me for? He's overriding my negativity, my downcast-ness and meeting with me. Something must be going on somewhere in the world that He needs me for right now, I thought. Yeah, He needed an intercessor, that's it, right? Something BIG must be going on, I thought.
No, that wasn't it. My thoughts were very wrong. Once I quieted my spirit and focused my thoughts on Him, I heard Him say this to me in my heart. "I don't just stand back and say 'I'm God, obey me' when my children are hurt. I come to serve. Tell them I still like to serve".
Tell them. Yes Lord! Hey folks, The God of all universes still wants to serve. The God we serve still likes to serve! And serve He does! Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us and He is touched with the feelings of our weakness (see Romans 8: 34 and Hebrews 4:15). Brother and sister, why don't you take a moment right now and bow your head before God and say a prayer of thanks to Him for His faithful service. Tell Him, "Lord, you can serve me anytime"! You're going to be glad you did! To God be the glory, He's wonderful to behold!
Praise the Lord! I wanted to share something with you all, something that was relayed to me by God's Holy Spirit. I came home after a concert outreach that I was involved in Friday night and went to sleep around 1 am. God woke me at about 4 am and I went into prayer. In prayer He showed me a large field that was green with grass. I saw smoke begin pouring out of one end of the field then I saw the fire that was causing the smoke. It (the fire) was not a large fire, it was however bright and hot. It was very strong though not large. The Spirit of God then said, "I am going to start a fire with a small group of people who praise and worship".
Bless the Lord Jesus and let all the people of the earth praise his name!
