Ketegaunseebee Spirit of the Anishnawbe Pow-wow 2001
Garden River First Nation would like to thank all those people who
help complete their pow-wow circle (August 18/29, 2000). We are
currently making preparations for the August 2001 pow-wow and will
update you with the information as we progress. Garden River First
Nation will hold its second competition pow-wow in August 2001.
Details and Dates to be confirmed. Prize payouts for August 2000
was in the amount of $10,000.00 for adult category; with an all around
youth special (male/female) payout of 3000.00. We are currently
looking at the same budget and possible drum competition/split.
