Red Nations Remembering
At St. Pius X School, 2750 Tucker Road, Nashville, TN 37218;
from 1:00pm - 8:00pm. This is an event honoring the strength &
courage of the Cherokees and other Indian Nations as they had to
face the rigors of the Trail of Tears and other Indian Removals.
The program includes speakers, storytellers, singing, dancing,
vendors & more, as well as a chance to meet with the Native American
Community of Nashville & surrounding areas. Everyone is asked to
bring a dish and a drink to share in a potluck supper. Each native
family is also encouraged to bring pictures remembering their ancestors
on the Trail of Tears and/or Indian Art or articles to share in
