 “Birdies for Charity” Event

Thank you to those that participated in the 17th annual John Deere Classic’s “Birdies for Charity” fundraising program.  Those that made a pledge helped Marquette Catholic Schools raise over $1,700.  The John Deere Classic also matches 10 percent of every organizations total pledge, which is included in the $1,700 total.  The money raised for our school system will be used to continue upgrading the technology.

Corporate and/or individuals could pledge a minimum of one-cent per birdie scored during the tournament.  For example, in 2009 1,914 birdies were scored.  For a one-cent pledge, your donation would be $19.14.  A great way to donate money to our school system!
