BIOLOGY II Grades 11-12 First Semester |
This course is inquiry based and pursues the questions
students have that involve biology. Depending on the interests of the class,
subjects studied can range fromthe brain's cortex layer to the ozone layer
and how the individual is involved. Prerequisites: Biology with C grade minimum |
FORENSICS Grades 11-12 Second Semester |
Forensic science is the study and application
of science to matters of law. You study recent cases and the latest logical
techniques used to solve those cases in a hands-on manner to help take the
mystery out of a mystery. Prerequisites: Biology |
CHEMISTRY II Grades 11-12 |
The fundamental principles of atomic structure, formulas and compounds,
stoichiometry, bonding, gases, solutions and changes of state are studied.
Qualitative and quantitative problems are done. Lab work is geared to
lecture material. Student may possibly earned 4 college credits for General
Chemistry.

PHYSICS Grade 12 |
The Modern Physics is used to present such topics as motion, astronomy,
energy, light, heat thermal expansion, sound, change of state, electric and
magnetic fields and the chemical basis of atomic theory. Lab work is related
to the topic currently under study. Calculations using vectors, trigonometry
and equations to solve problems involving motions, forces, and electricity
are done.
Prerequisites: Algebra and Geometry. Enrollment in Advanced Algebra are recommended. |
