COLTS DEFENSE - Still Strong
I can not see how people are saying that The Colts Defense sucked in the Bengal’s game! Number one, Freeney was tripled teamed!!!! Let’s see, on Bengal’s first drive COLTS DEFENSE held them to a field goal. Second and third drive, well? Bengal’s 4th drive COLTS DEFENSE made them have to punt. Bengal’s 5th drive COLTS DEFENSE held them to another field goal. Colts OFFENSE on their following possession while instead of running down the clock, decides to pass ending up getting intercepted resulting in a Bengal’s score. Bengal’s next drive, well? Bengal’s next drive, they try for a 4th and 1 as COLTS DEFENSE prevents them in doing so as they turn over the ball. Bengal’s next drive, rookie Corner Back, Marlin Jackson intercepts Palmers pass. Bengals next drive COLTS DEFENSE holds them on a fourth and 4 again they turn the ball over. Bengal’s next drive COLTS DEFENSE holds them to a field goal. I think they did a damn good job against an offense that is 5th in the NFL!

Patriots got an ass whoopin
Mood:  celebratory
I can not believe all the crap that is being said about -
"Colts should know better than to think they've proven anything."

"Because those weren't the Patriots."

"They wore Patriots jerseys, but defensively bore no resemblance to their Manning-devouring predecessors."

What a bunch of sore *^%$#* Losers!

Former President Bush
The postgame celebration was in full roar when a man clad in a bright red blazer strolled into the locker room.
Security didn't try to halt the party-crasher. Reliant Stadium is deep in the heart of Texas and former President George Bush pretty much can go where he pleases.Read Full Story

Colts remain undefeated

Seven weeks into the season after what many thought was a disastrous-looking preseason; October 23, 2005 - The Indianapolis Colts remain the NFL's only unbeaten team and in the process kept Houston on the other end of the spectrum.
The Colts' 38-20 victory pushed their mark to a franchise-record 7-0 and kept the Texans the league's only winless team at 0-6.

visits league's only winless team!

Before enjoying their bye week, the Colts must take care of another divisional road game. Standing between them and the best start in franchise history is Houston, which is why it's easy to envision the Colts heading into their break with a 7-0 record.
The Texans (0-5) are the league's only winless team.

Monday Night Football
Topic: Indianapolis Colts
On October 17th 2005, the NFL's lone unbeaten team, the Indianapolis Colts, will attempt to start a season 6-0 for the first time in 47 years, since the Weeb Ewbank-Johnny Unitas Colts of 1958.
That team, of course, won the NFL championship in the first "sudden-death" overtime in NFL history in
"The Greatest Game Ever Played."

Colts put a whooping on 49ers and Rookie QB Alex Smith
Mood:  celebratory
So the Tandem as the most prolific touchdown pass combination in NFL history didn't happen where the record originates by San Francisco 49ers Steve Young and Jerry Rice.

All the better, now alot of Colts Fans will get to witness it on Colts homefield when they play St. Louis Rams in The RCA Dome.

With a sellout crowd of 68,084 and in its fourth straight loss, San Francisco (1-4) failed to score an offensive touchdown for the second straight game.

Edgerrin James rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown, and the Colts intercepted four passes by 49er's No. 1 draft pick Alex Smith, two by Cato June, returning one for a touchdown. The Colts' defense did not allow The 49er's a touchdown as The Indianapolis Colts beat the San Francisco 49ers at Monster Park to remain unbeaten with a lackluster 28-3 victory on Sunday, October 09, 2005.
