FEE INCLUDES
The Jamboree fee covers transportation, tours, meals, lodging, patrol and troop equipment, as well as insurance and most admission fees. The fee also covers the training program that each Scout will attend before the Jamboree. Non-covered expenses will include personal equipment, 3 complete uniforms, and spending money for souvenirs, etc.
REFUND POLICY
If you sign up for the Jamboree and then find that you cannot attend, you will receive a full refund from the Hawkeye Area Council if you withdraw before January 5, 2004. After that date the council begins to incur costs on your behalf and you will receive a full refund only if there is another applicant to take your place. In the event that an alternate participant cannot be recruited, a partial refund will be made. This refund will be based on the fees you have paid to-date, less any expenses related to contractual agreements made on your behalf. In the event that the Hawkeye Area Council doesn’t approve you for participation at the Jamboree, all fees paid by you will be fully refunded.
