Boy Scout/Varsity Scout Qualifications
Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts must have been born between September 1, 1987 and July 1, 1993. All Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts must participate in a mandatory pre-Jamboree training experience to be scheduled for a weekend during the late spring or early summer of 2005. It is of critical importance that every contingent member attends this training for the entire weekend. Please consider this requirement when applying. Additional requirements include filing a completed personal health and medical record, No. NJS-4412, prior to pre-Jamboree training; have been active in a troop or team for at least 6 months prior to July 1, 2005; have earned the rank of First Class; and be approved by his unit leader and the Hawkeye Area Council.
