One of Lynch's absolute masterpieces is Twin Peaks. These series were (initially) shown in 1990 and 1991 and
untill now there have been numerous reruns in many different countries. There is a very active
newsgroup, discussing all sorts of themes and aspects within Twin Peaks.
A (very) short summary: (will be replaced with a bigger one in a while)
The body of a young girl named Laura Palmer is washed up on a beach near a small Washington state town
of Twin Peaks. FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper is called in to investigate her strange demios only to uncover
a web of mysteries that ultimately leads him deep into the heart of the surrounding woodland and his very own soul.
