A community group concerned with determining the best use of MacCabe Park Wollongong.

Tasks performed: media liaison, organise promotional activities, hold regular meetings, organised and participated in a parliamentary delegation, correspond with Local, State and Federal politicians and public representation for the group.

1999

Campaign manager - Wollongong City Council Elections

Tasks performed: advising the candidate on strategy, organising the candidate's support group, organising and managing volunteers on polling booths, scrutinising and directing scrutineers.

An Illawarra forum with John Raulston Saul

- internationally acclaimed historian and novelist

Tasks performed: media liaison, publicity, promotion, venue arrangements, master of ceremonies and catering.

Attended by approx. 600 people

Lunch with John Raulston Saul

Organised a cross-section of the Illawarra community to brief John on relevant political and social aspects of this region. Representatives were from business, trade unions, students, community activists and the indigenous people of the Illawarra.
