looks as good as Justin singing!!!
1) Jheri Kurl Guitar Man (Ruben): Since he insists on jamming with the guys on
stage during "Crazy For You," its not too hard to see this greasy guy.
2) Web Page Designer (WPD): This guy's a little harder to spot, but equally important in the telling of this story. When the guys are performing "You Got It", keep your eyes peeled during the lyrics, ". . .When you see a shooting star, all your problems seem so far. . ." Do you see the girl with the braces standing by the tree? Well, look directly to the left-that man there with the Disney shirt and glasses is *N SYNC's web page designer for their official site. Doesn't he look a little too happy for a guy that's at a *N SYNC concert?
Now that you have been introduced to the most important people in Lance's life, you can read the story:
Back in 1996, when *N SYNC was just getting together and still singing old Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block songs, Jheri Kurl auditioned to play back up music for the guys. Jheri was on stage and the five boys were lined up in the front row listening. JC was taking notes so fast that smoke was coming up from the paper, Justin was loooking at Ruben's hair , wondering whether or not his curly hair would look like that too if it was long , Joey was eating a super-size Big Mac combo from McDonald's , Chris was braiding his hair and looking at his watch wondering how much longer this would last , and Lance was licking his lips while checking out Ruben's body in his gold strech pants.
After landing the job, Lance invited Ruben to his house for Thanksgiving dinner. Jheri was new in town, and needed a place to stay so it was only logical. This is when the relationship blossomed. The two found out that they had so much in common and were so excited that they would be traveling the world together-how convienient!!!
The question arose on whether or not Lance should tell the other members of the band about his new boyfriend. After much thought, he decided to not tell the other guys because he definetely didn't need to give them something else to make fun of him about . So it would be Jheri's and Lance's little secret. Or so Lance thought!!! Ruben was so mad because he felt like Lance wasn't proud of him, and Ruben wanting to scream at the top of his lungs and profess his love for Lance. After a big tiff, the two decided to break it off for a little while and date other people, because Ruben needed his space. Lance was so upset! This had been his longest relationship ever-9 months!! In fact, Ruben thought that he might even had been pregnant (turns out it was a false alarm!)
Lance was so depressed that he decided not to go out with anyone that night. (The guys didn't think this was unusual because they usually didn't invite Lance to go out with them anyways). So wiping his mascara, watching Spanish soap operas and eating bon-bons, Lance settled in for a night alone. But then Lance noticed WPD with his lap top off in the corner.Lance had always thought that he was such a sexy little guy. It's too bad that I'm in a commited relationship, Lance thought to himself But wait! If Jheri's off with someone else (rumor has it that this someone else was Howie D.), then why can't I!?
So Lance went over to the Webpage Designer to strike up a conversation. Hours later, the two were still chatting and giggling away. With the romantic light of the computer, they slowly became more than just friends. Suddenly, Jheri burst in, because he forgot his peachy pink nail polish. He couldn't believe that his Lovey Lansten was cheating on him. Ruben slapped WPD across the face. On cue WPD pulled Ruben1s nappy fro. Before Lance knew it, they were rolling on the ground brawling over him. Lance was so distraught, he ran from the room bawling and slammed the door.
The next few weeks, things were very tense. The rest of the guys thought it was just Lance1s time of the month, so they ignored him. In the meantime, Ruben sent Lance roses, chocolate, stuffed animals, and engagement rings to make up with him. Eventually this won Lance over, and he went back to Ruben and forgot all about WPD. They lived happily ever after.
