Locating drivers for some pc cards can be the most frustrating thing known to the computer builder, more so
if there are very few identifying marks on them. There are many ways of obtaining them, look for the maker or chip number
of the major chip and do a search using that number as the search varible. Sometimes there will be a name embossed in the printed
circut of the board itself, last there should be a FCC sticker on the back of it, doing a FCC search will tell you who made the
card. Muti-funtion cards are the hardest as they may have many different chips all from different makers, for these the fastest is to do a FCC search
if the sticker is attached. If there is no sticker, look for an embossed marking on the card and use this for a search variable.
If the maker is known use the CyberMedia Yellow Pages below and find out if they have a web site, if they do go there and head for
Tech. Support, if they don't, it will list a phone number or BBS number that you can leave an e-mail at to inquire about the specific
product. If need be do a FCC search, find the maker, then use the yellow pages to find there site.
