Soft And Sweet
Softly tenderly touching me, gently holding and kissing me.
Looking so innocent with sweet words on your lips,
Like a slender glass of wine begging to be sipped.
Your fingers are caressing as your eyes are confessing,
My anticipation builds as I watch you undressing.
As your garments fall to the floor, you never asked for more,
I'd give anything for you as so often I've proved that true.
So turn off the lights, and lets enjoy this special night.
This brief moment will last forever, if our hearts and souls are clever.
Let the music play on, let this night be long.
I'll miss you if you leave tonight,so lets just hold each other tight.
For your beauty I so much adore,
You're everything to me and so much more.
So lay here and drift off to sleep,
As I look at you so soft and sweet.

Mysterious Night
I hear the timbers crack as the wind keeps blowing hard,
As I look out a window dust is dancing in my yard.
The full moon and the fast clouds have made their presence known,
Warning me of the danger that will threaten my old home.
For the animals it's to late they'll have to find their way,
Not much I can do to make 'em stay.
Mother nature packs a punch and she's come to get what's owed,
Now the wind has died down and the clouds have slowed.
This is just another showdown of the fastest on the draw,
Who comes out a winner and who has to crawl.
I'll fight this raging battle 'till the blood leaves my veins,
A raise my fist in anger against the pounding rains.
The lightining casts a light on things not meant to see,
I saw 'em all along 'cause I always had believed.
Blow on evil wind and rain hard if you'd like,
And bring on the thunder and bolts of lightining from the sky.
I'll be here waiting for it's your turn to move,
I know without you saying what the next thng is you'll do.

Deep inside I'm crying out loud,
It should've been over yes over by now.
You should've been gone and on your merry way,
Not lingering on after we parted ways.
Just no way to shake how I feel 'bout you,
If you're not in a song then it's something I do.
You're waiting up ahead while I'm looking behind,
In my heart and soul long before you hit my mind.
You're not really here I use to tell myself,
Then your spirit knocked that thought right off that dusty shelf.
What is it that you want is it something that I need,
'Cause I sure need you just as much as you need me.
So what are we doing if we're going no where,
Who else would understand just how much I care.
On and on it goes my strong feelings for you,
They take me to new heights and at times leave me blue.
I know you feel the same we so often parallel,
Waiting for heaven puts our hearts through some hell.
We both put up a front when conversing in a crowd,
But quietly we both are crying out loud.

~Her Leavin' Is More Than I can Stand~
She told me that her leavin'
Was a temporary thing she had to do.
She said it's only short term
And she'd be coming back soon.
But that still doesn't change
The way my heart keeps breaking
When she closed the door.
I gently kissed her on the cheek
And wondered why I didn't beg her more.
As her car pulled out the drive
And I saw her sincerely wave,
I知 down to thoughts of missing her
And if I could've made her stay.
The mem'ry's of her linger
In this big ol' lonely house,
Over a dinning room chair
Is her still damp bathroom towel.
She was in a hurry so I told her
That I would straighten up.
So many things she left behind
Me being one amongst her other stuff.
The bed sheets still on the floor
From our early morning love making.
When I told her I would be ok
I knew I was deeply mistaken.
Her bathrobe on the ironing board
Still filled with her soft erotic scent.
I knew this day was coming
Now I wonder why
Those moments came and went.
Her friends keep calling
Asking if I知 doing fine,
I壇 like to say no I知 not
And at times I feel like I just want to die.
But I値l put on my best face
'Cause I don't want
The tears to show a broken man,
I wish someone would take my place
'Cause my loneliness is more than I can stand.

More Than I Can Stand
Part two
So instead of drowning in my misery
I knew that I had to be brave,
After all it's only temporary
And she'll return in 5 long dragged out days.
Thoughts of her ran through my head
I felt her presence so real at times it seems.
Even though my days were without her
I always had her at night in my dreams.
So I got a pen and paper
And wrote down all the things she means to me,
And how I appreciate the way she see's
What others don't dig deep enough to see.
Then I drove down to the florist
And bought the biggest bunch of roses that they sold.
I wrote on the card without her
My life is so empty sad and cold.
Then I went back to the house
And started setting up the bedroom,
For tonight she's coming home
And it could never be to soon.
I put the scented candles on the nightstand
And those love song tapes next to the stereo.
She's played them so many times
Every word in every song she knows.
It's coming down to zero hour
Her car will soon be coming up the drive
My heart beats fast just thinking
Of the pleasures that I値l bestow on her tonight

Blown Away By Love
So heavy is my heart with each deep breath I take.
So strong is this feeling that I can't seem to shake.
My heart races and pounds loud inside my chest.
And daring thoughts want to be put to the test.
Remembering how it felt to tremble so fresh in my mind.
Makes me unleash vocally what others rarely find.
The words left unspoken by thoughts that are awesomely felt.
Are caused by raw emotions that are brought out of their shell.
Like a clap of thunder that shakes the heavens above.
Nothing even comes close to being blown away by love.

As the rain beats on the window in our bedroom,
And the sky looks like a storm is coming soon.
We lay there in eachother's arms not caring,
We're enjoying the moment that we're sharing.
As my fingers go through your hair,
I'm amazed how much you care.
I'm staying put this time I'll never leave you,
'Cause it hurts to much my heart to have to go through.
I know where I belong and from now on,
What's mine is yours, forever I'm sure.
As my tongue glides slowly down your neck,
I'm wanna be cool but I'm a nervous wreak.
You whispered in my ear, words that made me shed a tear.
Your soft skin's getting goosebumps by my fingers,
Those words you told me still gently linger.
Then I take a second glance,and as if by chance.
You see me as nobody else could see me,
and I know with you is where I should be.
As you lay your pretty head upon my chest,
It's times like this I really must confess.
Let the hard rain fall, 'cause with her I've got it all.
Her naked body so erotic as it's teasing,
She knows I enjoy her way of pleasing.
As our sweat gets on eachother, we both kick off the covers.
Let the rain tap on the window in our bedroom,
As we passionately kiss eachother and say I love you's...

Good Kind Of Sad
I've been feeling a good kind of sad,
24-7 of I got it real bad.
On my mind is such an awesome feeling,
I'm love sick and I don't want healing.
It's kickin' in like it never has before,
Leaves me drained and beggin' for some more.
It didn't take much to heighten my addiction,
It really is true life is stranger than fiction.
This bug of mine keeps intensifying,
I never get enough of precious time I've been buying.
I'm to the point of becoming unwound,
I am at the stage of complete meltdown.
I'm not down or angry or mad,
Hope I never get over this good kind of sad.
