Music, Dance, and Band Trips.
This page is dedicated to my love of music and dance, which inspires the desire to succeed in life.
As you know from the "About Me" page I play the oboe and clarinet in my high school's concert band and will take any opportunity available to learn how to play others. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, you name it, I like it! And yes that includes classical. (Don't laugh too hard please.) But I'm usually found with the latest mix cd's while crising around. Hope you're enjoying my page so far, have a nice day!

This is an alto clarinet which is what I played for some songs in grade nine, and a B flat clarinet, the instrument that I have played for six years, and still do.

This is an oboe, which is what I play in concert band now. One day you'll possibly see me playing a solo for a symphony orchestra.

These are oboe reeds, and believe me they cost!
Here is a saying: "In the hands of a trained professional, the oboe produces a hauntingly beautiful sound that seemingly floats above the rest of the orchestra. In the hands of an untrained amateur, it can summon romantically inclined geese." (I guess I would fit somewhere in the middle of those two extremes.)

This picture was taken on our grade nine Band Trip to Victoria. Here is Jessica, Katrina, Myself, Angie and Jen.

Yeah, I know this is a bad picture, this is me dancing in our Christmas concert.

A picture of our recital. Thanks to the Shuswap School of Ballet, and Suzanne Personnier for making our performance a sucess! Go flamencoers!!
