So, here I am - grey haired and now 48. I first brought joy to the world back in January 1954. I was the last born of 5 sons, because it took my parents, Alf & Audrey, five attempts to produce the perfect child ! Our family first originated in Kings Cross (an inner-city suburb of Sydney) but 5 kids in a two bedroom flat was a little crowded so we packed up and bought our next home on a 1/4 acre suburban block at Bexley, a suburb of Sydney where we stayed until 1961. At age 7, we moved to a small 5 acre farm at Liverpool where my parents bred ponies as their hobby. I attended Liverpool Primary School, and later Hurlstone Agricultural High School at Glenfield until 1971. For next 23 years I worked for the AMP, a major australian insurance company, until my resignation. In early 1995 we moved to the beautiful Gold Coast in southeast Queensland, the tropical state - see our page on 'where we live'. Family wise, I met my wife Kaye Smith back when I was just 18. Being the first girl I had ever met who couldn't say "no" (just joking!), our relationship obviously developed and we married 3 years later in October 1975. That was 26 years ago! (Yep, we have been married continuously, to each other, non-stop for 2.6 lifetimes!) We have 3 sons - Michael (age23) who has finally left us and bought his first home, then Lucas (age 21) who threatens to leave home, and finally Nicholas (age 18) who will probably never leave home. To finish the package we then added an adopted daughter "Lucy" 6 years ago (but she is a real little bitch)! Feel free to check each of their own pages - and thanks for dropping in.
