Matt M. Ominski

At this juncture, the illustrious Matt M. Ominski is not available for comment; although this is supposed to be his page!

His decree has been to have some general information about him placed in this space until such time as he replaces it with something from a personal perspective.

As delineated beneath his link from the main page on this site, his place in the band is as a bass player and one of the vocalists. Yet, this does not reflect the role he has come to play as a rather prolific songwriter in DYOMINACH. He has contributed to the writing of all but two of the eight cuts on our CD, Divergence! He has even had a hand in the writing of some of the lyrics for the project.

Notwithstanding these tidbits of fact, Matt has a solid career in the field of business management and has customer service skills that surpass the overwhelming majority of what is commonly seen in either the retail or wholesale markets. He is also the proud parent of two children; ages 10 and 14.

As far as musical influences are concerned, suffice it to say that his primary focal points have been in lighter metal/rock and jazz. This in spite of the fact that he would likely admit to being a Metallica fan!

Like the rest of us in the band, he graduated from Parkrose Senior High School in Portland, OR with the class of 1987. He also dabbled in some coursework at Mount Hood Community College shortly thereafter.

With respect to general interests, Matt loves fast cars and motorcycles. He is also an accomplished artist in terms of drawing and has also done some painting in his time; not to mention the fact that his prior career path was in graphic arts. Being the most mechanically inclined person in the band, he has shown himself to be nearly a "jack of all trades," from time to time.

What else can be said about this man? Whatever that may be, I'll leave it to him to take care of ! ! !
