Our first fund raiser of the year was a rock-a-thon held on the
last weekend of Febuary. We ended up with only 6 kids particapating. (bummer)
But, hey, that's okay. Those six kids rocked!!! (LOL, get it?) All six stayed
awake the whole night, and got 12 hours of rocking time. WAY TO GO, Y'ALL!!!
Our best fund raiser ever, we made almost $500.00. Not bad for 6 kids, huh?
Speaking of fund raisers, this year we are going to do things diffent
with Speed-the-Light. Instead of having a set amount that we pledged for this
year, we are going to send 20% of all money we raise. Last year all of the
money we raised went to Speed-the-Light, except for our Pie in the Face fund
raiser. (only around $100.00)
