It is with heavy heart we say good-bye to Frodo. He will journey back to Finland in November as he has completed his "visit" here. For two years, we enjoyed his bright, charizmatic personality. He was fun to watch, fun to show, fun to live with. Thank you Meri for sharing this wonderful dog with us. We wish him safe travels.

Frodo started his show career in great style: In his first show he was BOS at the Finnish Welsh Corgi Clubs Specialty Show 1999. He has great showmanship and was a real pleasure for his breeder, Meri Aalto, to show. In his second show, International Helsinki Winner Show 1999, he won his first CC and was 3rd in Best Male class. Frodo, like his litter brother Sam in Missouri, is a good example of the quality progeny of Ch Smultronbackens Donovan.

Frodo took CC and 2nd Best Male in Norwegian Specialty Show 2000 under judge Peter Hopwood, UK!

Frodo took CC and BOB with BIS-3 in EBCU Specialty Show 2001!

Frodo took CC and BOB with BIS-4 in EBCU Specialty Show 2003 With this CC, he also finished his titles in Finland, Norway and Estonia.

Frodo attended his first set of American shows and, although he was slim on coat and weight, picked up 5 points.

Spring of 2004 - Frodo has now completed his American Championship in short order. He attended the Oklahoma City Cluster and won 3 of the four shows picking up both his majors. Then the San Antonio shows he won the first day to finish. He was held out the 2nd day and showed the 3rd day to "hold the major" but ended up winning it under Carmen Battaglia, respected movement judge. Frodo finished with two 3 point majors and one 4 point major.
