Hunter has come all the way from Finland to join our Cardigan crew. A big thanks is due Meri Aalto for letting this become a reality.

We first met Hunter at the Portland Cardigan National and fell in love with him. Since arriving a little over a month ago, he has adjusted to his new home, loves his "girls", has visited (just visited) a show or two, had his eyes checked by the "eye doctor" (he comes from PRA clear lines) and shown us (unexpectedly) that he loves water; as you will see by the pictures below.

In June, Hunter will make his show debut in the six Idaho shows. We'e hoping to finish his championship IF majors are available. After that, if he likes the shows, he will be conditioned for specialing.

In the meantime, he is enjoying time with the "sheepies".

Hunter went to Montana in September and won both his majors (one day was Best of Breed over a Special) to finish his American Championship. The next day, his first as a Champion, he won Best of Breed! He's a happy show dog so will probably see the show ring from time to time!
