This is Matt from O'Doyle Rules' save the scene site. It is one of the best sites on the internet. Make sure to look at his site and sign his guestbook. It'll make a difference because he actually cares.
O'Doyle Rules is probably the prominent band in helping to fix the scene now with their diy shows and matt's page and all. They have been around for a while and are one of Houston's most valued punk/ska bands.
Featuring Cory from Animosity and ex-members of Switch this is one of Houston's most talented bands. There is an article with Cory on the Interviews and Articles page and he knows what he is talking about so make sure and read it.
Melodic punk band, one of the best in Houston. These guys have been around quite a while. I remember seeing them opening for River Fenix along time ago, there is an interview with ralph on the Interview and Article page so be sure and check it out.
This is my band, we are a new punk band in Houston. We are trying to do everything we can to help the scene now. Our bass player called Fitz after they cancelled our first show and bothered them until they let us open for TSOL. I am doing this site to the best of my ability and hopefully it will help.

These guys used to be called Big Shot Benny but changed their name to Zero Cool. They are out of Beaumont Texas. Poppunk.
These guys are a pop punk band kind of like face to face or all. Kevan gives a great article on the article page about lack of appreciation and how that presents a problem in the scene.
High energy melodic punk band fixing to put out an ep on Good Guy. There is an interview with Jeff and it is quite good, so check it out.
