Retro-fit With Superior Valves
Need valves for your pre-1937 Super 8 or a 1920-28 6? Stellite valves for certain Caterpillar Models fit these engines, though the stem is .375 rather than .3125. This is an advantage for non-leaded fuel, as Larger valve stems cool better.
Original guides can be used by reaming them oversize.
Split-cone spring keepers can be used by modifying Dodge 320 seats to fit the original springs. Dodge seats are mild steel and readily machinable.
